Hrothgar Hair request: MEGATHREAD

HELLO!
SO in light of the revealed upcoming "hairstyles" for Hrothgar I wanted to make this thread to support Hrothgar players and for you to post hairstyles that you would have preferred.
Please refrain from getting off topic.
The revealed hairstyles are not good, this thread is not in favor of the revealed LL "hairstyles" for Hrothgar.

Early to Rise, Wind Caller, Ponytails, Curls, Lexen-Tails, and possibly Modern Legend.

Wind Caller for sure, Styled for Hire and the Jack hair from Type-0.
Would also include Pulse, but thankfully that one is coming with the announced hairstyles.

But what's important is that we can change hairstyles without paying actual money. As well as making hairstyles from other faces work globally, not just porting over from humanoid characters.

Wind Caller, Gyr Abanian Plait, Rainmaker. Just to name a few.

I would LOVE to have Windcaller...one of the few hairstyles that looks really freaking good on Hrothgar!

I would love to see what Rainmaker looks like on Hrothgar, as it'd be the only hairstyle I might rock on my Hrothgar if it ever happens. Wind Caller is a must too.

Rainmaker, Styled for Hire and Early to Rise would be a good starting point in my opinion. Also Windcaller. (I mean, it is the signature style from a guy called "Leon", how could it not? :D ) I could also imagine something with big braids (not cornrows, but more fuzzy, "nordic", if this makes any sense?)
There was also something I've seen in another thread as example: Bald. Looked surprisingly well.

When it comes to non-existing hairstyles, I'd say use everything that looks a bit fluffy, rough or mane-like as a starting point and then imagine what you can do with this in case of braids, ponytails, specific cuts etc. And a bit of long hair, though I could imagine this might be difficult due to their backs and shoulders.

Though just being able to mix the existing Hrothgar specific hairstyles more freely would also be a win (and being able to change them without Fantasia of course, like mentioned above). There are many combinations of the existing features that aren't possible to select yet but would look well together, at least in my opinion. :)

Honestly, I think getting the default hair from all the available heads would be a decent place to start. Otherwise I'd want Raincaller and the other Bozja ones.

Wind caller (one of my personal favorites, as well as generally popular on Hrothgar players' wishlists)

Sharlayan Studies (Aka the Alphinaud hair. Think it'd look pretty alright on Hrothgar, would be a nice fluffy hair option, and also make it so that anyone buying the HW Alphi costume won't be paying too much for what they get in return)

Styled for Hire (This one is a pretty popular pick too, afaik)

Hair 131 (also a popular pick both on Hrothgar players' wishlist iirc and from what I've seen, overall a very popular hairstyle)

Additionally, I'd like to see some of the hairs we've previously seen in official Hrothgar (concept) art before as well.

The hair on the first row up here is BASICALLY Hrothgar face 2 hair 1, and the one on the third row is somewhat similar to face 3 hair 2, so they could just unlock those, but I'd really like to see the other two styles here make it in as well.

Additionally, the hairs on the left and right below here are basically just face 3 hair 1 and face 4 hair 1 respectively, but the one in the center is nowhere to be found, which I think is a pity, as it's a pretty cool mane-like style.

at this stage, I'd just be happy if I could select each existing hair without it being tied to a single face. I'd like to see some of the Roe and Au Ra hairstyles made to fit (imagine the Au Ra super saiyan looking one!), but losing the ears is just completely unacceptable. May as well just remove Viera ears for their new hair too or remove.

If they're happy to remove our ears for hair, they may as well go all in and just enable hats too (because that's basically what the hair shown looks like, and I'm guessing if this were some awful april fools joke, it would've been said by now - honestly, thought maybe it was an april fools announcement for female hrothgar when they first showed them)

These are from a fellow Hrothgar artist in a different thread. I would love to see these in the game, especially that second one.

Honestly I am loving a lot of these designs already. Besides the one mane hairstyle we have (which I have on my character just out of necessity), but I think it looks like sonic the hedgehog, I am all for manes and wild looking lion stuff like this:

Wind Caller

It's a popular hairstyle that you need to do a fair amount of work to get.

I can't look it up right now for obvious reasons, but afaik I haven't seen the actual FFX Ronso hair from Kimhari in the character creator yet, only styles that look roughly similar. But correct me if I'm wrong. That one would be cool. :)

The short haircut with the little ponytail on the back from one of the Ronso women in the Blizzball team, Irga Ronso, might also be a nice idea for the Hrothgals, whenever they may come into existence. (Would also fit to the lion-mane, lioness-no mane thing.)

something similar to the Viera M styles 15 & 16 (longish with braids framing the face on each side), something akin to what the modern imagery of vikings has become or like Rost from Horizon Zero Dawn. giving the race that was supposed to be more bestial what equates to K-Pop hairstyles makes zero sense, stylistically speaking. as to strictly styles available via Modern Aesthetics: Rainmaker, Windcaller, Styled for Hire, or even Modern Legend, provided they actually include ears and allow them to clip through the hair. the new styles without ears look absurd, and even Pulse looks better with the ears clipping through rather than not.

I checked them out, and I'll stick with the one I've had since I created this character.

Its sad to see the community can do a better job at giving us hair options than square has, and not to mention HATS i cant wear any god damned hats either in the game, like 90% of my glams are hatless cause none work, but if you look online, you can find mods that clearly have hats working on hrothgar, its not that it cant be done, its that they dont care bout hrothgars, never have , and i doubt they will by the looks of it. i just want them to give a little tinyest bit of a shit, theyre talking about us getting less hairstyles if they worked on hrothgar hair, idk cant get any less than 0 for the majority of it, absolutely appalling, i dont honestly think theyll see this or care but hey atleast i tossed in my 2 cents

With at least one of those hairstyles (with ears, ofc), I'd consider transforming my Highlander back to be Hrothgar again!
