Does anyone else hope they will add Moombas?!

I would die for moombas. I think it would be super cool to have tribe quests for moombas but I don’t care I’d even take just getting a minion. Like whaaaat? Shut up and take my money. I hope one day this comes to pass

I would die for Moombas

As long as I get to kill them instead of being forced to do more beast tribe quests.

What are those?. Pets?. They are kind of cute, I would love some minions!. :p

They could appear as familars at first in Elpis. I don't know. It just makes sense to me they would be the Ancients familars first before becoming a beast tribe or something later in our timeline.

He's just expressing his love for Moombas and would like them to make an appearance in FF14, is that so wrong? Anyway I would also like to see them show up, they are underappreciated.

Rather than them being a beast tribe, I'd rather they be the stewards/lords of the Island Sanctuary, with whom we have to communicate with in order to do whatever we're going to do in there.
But yes, Moombas would be a cute addition to XIV's ever-growing list of sentient species.

OT stuff:

Moomba is the name of the annual festival in my city. Started in 1955, the name was originally supposed to be an Aboriginal word for "let's all get together and have fun" but it later came out the elder who suggested it played a prank on the organisers using the Kurin language and used some words that meant something else completely.

If we get a 'Moomba' tribe it's going to be hard for Aussies who know not to think of that.

For a small amount of time I thought you meant Moomins and was thinking this was the weirdest crossover I'd ever heard requested. ... but it's not.. so .. neat I guess.

They're not mute in VIII; they all can speak words ("Laguna, Laguna!") if they try really hard, but they keep most of their audible communication to growling, mewling, roaring, and other such noises.

Fairly certain we'll get these at some point. They're planning at least 10 more years of the game, so they're definitely holding some things in reserve for later expansions.

Would love more FF8 themed items and lore in general!
Shadowbringers had a few nods with the guardian force/memory loss element and how the Gaia and Ryne bit played out at the end of the Eden, Eden, Quetzalcoatl, the music, the gunblade, and the alternate dimension- but nothing on sorceresses, moombas, no ff8 themed armor or weapons, or maps. it makes me really sad :C

Moombas?! I love them!

Seeing as we only have bipedal species atm, Nanaki race would be more interesting. But yeah, VIII is great & I'd enjoy having more related content to it in XIV.
