So I am a big time poker player and in general a gambler. There is a feature on Pokerstars (online poker program) called Home Games. The Blue Gartr LS sets it up on Rabanstre and they play for Gil in game. This is by far the coolest thing ever! If we got enough people to play I would do the setup. Tell me if you are interested! Game would always be Texas Hold Em and we could play like once a week.
I'm interested, but it does seem have lots logistics involved.
You guys do tournies or ring games?
Ring game makes more sense due to flexibility.
Yeah a ring game would make a ton more sense allthough Im not familiar with the Home Game options. If you could sit down and be given any amount of chips by the leader it would be good because you could get the exact number of play Chips for the game as the gil you gave the mule. Tourneys can be long and drawn out too or if you make the blinds too quick to get it over it boils down to alot more luck then skill.
I'd join if you start a home game.

I got 45k gil but I got like 7k worth of stuff to NPC when servers come back so Im pretty rich.
id be up for it, I enjoy a good game, havent played for a while though.

100k floor 1mil cap seems reasonable for now.
In FF11 one person in my LS ran the biggest gambling parlor in Ifrit, his daily cashflow was in the 250-300mil range.

Gil game is only considered gambling when RMT is legal, which it is not.
Seems a bit...iffy. I'm unsure what the actual... rules are about this. I suppose since it's not gambling with real money for in game money, it can't be considered against the rules.
I think you'd need an age restriction though, since the website is for only 18+ right? That's the only thing I can imagine would upset SE, if under 18s are using a gambling website to gamble using gil.
Not trying to discourage the idea, seems like it would be fun, just a warning.
