Okay look I can't find a party in my server to test it but I think it's a good setup check it out.
1 Paladin
1 Whitemage
3 Dragoon's
3 Bard's
The benefits an reasons that im leaning towards this first setup
1 Paladin-There aren't any Blms Hate control should easily be handled with some enmity gear. One of the benefits in party would be Divine Veil the Dragoons, Holy Succor anyone who needs it ,Self normal cure himself. These are the only benefits I can find I know Rampart says Physical Defense but hey during HF if you can pop it try to do it near party for the fun of it might help.
1 Whitemage- It's obvious what the priority for Whitemage will be. It's to cure the tank remember the Paladin has Cure an Succor so let him that's one of the ways he sustains hate so dont over cure unless you think he's gonna die, never let his hp go under 60%. When the Paladin is at good hp with Regen then turn to the dragoon to make sure they are doing okay.Be sure to keep up Protect on the party if you have a doubt that someone's protect timer is to low recast it.Stoneskin can help the Dragoons ignore SS for the tank.
3 Dragoon's- My reason is they're TP Regen, meaning they can push out some nice attack also during Razor Phase they are more then prepared for using legsweep which I find has a large range like SteelCyclone from Mrd .Dragoons can use Keen Flurry for the phase where Garuda is busting out 2 sets at 1 time so that's 2 legsweeps plus Legsweep 30sec Recast it's cheap on TP an you can combo 2 for legsweep meaning Legsweep isn't a fullcombo.Dragoons will be teamed attacking garuda from behind making sure to keep at least 1k tp 2k preferably if you know a wave is about to be pushed. If you are out of AOE's Return to attacking Garuda unless its last Wave of Razors.Dragoons have a free 8yalm move called Jump its pretty good an can go through the rocks so yea its good enough to tag that 1 razor you couldn't finish off.
3 Bard's- First thing is already known 2 bards in the begining cast off Ballad's and Minuet.In this setup the Bard will be taking basic place of Blackmages tagged with Dragoons.As the last Bard without a song up as soon as you get 1k TP be sure to cast it on dragoons an then run back gain it again for to cast on the other Bards once. Keep it up on Dragoons. The Bards can use the Wide Volley Combo when Razors are unleashed but will not need to focus on the Razors. When Razors are unleashed save the Rain of death combo for last waves of Razors to ensure all Razors die. There will be more then enough AOE's to kill all the Razor's if done right.
Maybe I missed out on some other Aspects on each Job but these are the main ones I can find and it's just been a strategy that has been rolling in my head for a while If you tried this strategy please give me feedback on how it worked only if you tried how I posted .

Plausible, but DRGs will have to be top-notch, never missing combos(which with Garuda, is alot. even if you have high acc, she moves like crazy).
Relying on Wide Volley and Rain of Death require the BRDs to always have TP.
Might try it though. But curious, why can't you find anyone on your server to do it? -

You need at least 2 BLM to kill one of the garuda clone. You can replace BLM with MNK too.

there no way around the clone you need to have monks or blm to kill the clones with phsyical immunity if any of the two clones are up it's a wipe sorry there no way around this one you need two monks or two black to take down the one of the clone which is phsyical immunity.
Also let's start by DRG are good at doing AOE to take down the adds doing DMG on Garuda herself there ok but no where near a MNK dmg. There many set up and drg are very good at taking the adds but war or bards can do better. -

more than that the plumes has a very high m.def so Dragon fire dive wont hit them hard and thats why a mnk who is not paying attention to His fists cant damage the plumes with Aura pulse.
The problem is with the players they see an easy way to kill or finish a fight and they use it (BLM burn is an example).
i have seen some videos of garuda fight with every single job (mostly JP players) and they won. and not just that in CC a mnk who can Break chimera tail can rape chimera and sometimes steal hate from the tank (not just pld even war).
it all depends on the easy way and frankly people tend to use the easiest way more than creating a new way -

but you maybe can resolve the problem but Garuda Stuns with or without militia equip.. PLD have seriously problem if have to cure all always during the fight ^^ (has problems only curing himself >_>, think for all pt!)
in before better WAR for now, maybe with 1.22b PLD = new tank \o/ -
