How do some people already have radiant weapons? I did all raids since first week and I only have 5 unsung blades. Do you get any extra by doing savage or something?

Second Savage fight drops a guaranteed tomestone.
Got it, thank you.
As noted, P2S drops a Discal Tomestone; if you win the roll on that, you can get a Radiant weapon immediately without using any Unsung blades.
For any given Savage fight, you get one book token per week (Asphodelos Mythos, right now) guaranteed for your first clear. If you have 8 people who haven't cleared the fight yet that week, you get two chests at the end. If 1-4 people have cleared, you get one chest. If 5+ people have cleared, no chests (and just a page, if you don't already have yours for the week). Regardless of anything else, you only get to roll on gear for your first clear of the week. So if you don't win anything, you can't just hop back in and try to roll again at the end.
So, the loot pattern generally goes:
First Floor
Raid accessories (Earring, Necklace, Bracelet, Ring)
Second Floor
Raid lesser left-side (Head, Hand, Foot)
Tome accessory upgrade material (i.e., what right now turns Radiant accessories into Augmented Radiant accessories)
Weapon tomestone (whatever you'd normally trade 7 of the normal-mode weekly blade tokens for, right now the Discal Tomestone)
Third Floor
Tome gear upgrade material (what turns Radiant head/chest/hand/leg/foot gear into Augmented Radiant)
Tome weapon upgrade material (what turns a Radiant weapon into the Augmented Radiant weapon)
Raid lesser left-side gear (Head, Hand, Foot)
Raid legs
Fourth Floor
Raid chest piece
Raid weapon
Mount
...thus, hypothetically, if you won the Discal Tomestone in P2S and the Radiant Roborant (to upgrade the Radiant weapon) in P3S in the first week, you could have an i600 Augmented Radiant weapon almost immediately. (You would be forced to wait until the second week to have enough Astronomy tomes to get the Radiant weapon, though.)
It wasn't intended as a lecture; I apologize if it somehow came across as such.
(Plus, when I started writing that post, your reply saying you got it was not actually in the thread yet for me to have seen, as it was posted -- according to the timestamp -- 9 minutes before I hit 'Post' on my reply. Which took me roughly 15 minutes to write because I went to double-check that I was remembering the drops correctly.)
Either way, it was offered in the spirit of "here is information the OP might want, and which could be useful to have for posterity." Because this thread now exists and such threads can turn up when someone uses the forum's search engine -- or Google searches 'ffxiv how radiant weapon so fast' or whatnot -- and I figured it might as well have an explanation already here when they show up having clicked on the search result.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Marking the OP as someone I will never answer question, don't want to unintended offend by being too helpful.
This is really helpful, thank you! Never feel sorry for being helpful, esp because others like me might read it and learn something new.
Tell me you never want anyone to answer your questions ever again, without telling me you never want anyone to answer your questions ever again.
Thanks for the detailed info Packetdancer. Very well written!
While I agree there was more information in there than you originally asked for, a simple "fair enough, thank you" would've sufficed. Or, you know.. nothing at all.
Now instead, you got a lot of extra lecturing from everyone who has an opinion about what you said!
There's actually an Ignore List feature on this forum. Just click on the portrait of a poster, then on the left there will be a link to add to ignore list. All future post from that poster will instead show up as a message saying the comment is hidden because the poster is on your ignore list.
This is very helpful thank you, especially for those that sre not that familiar with savage raids.
I actually am really grateful for being told what exactly drops from each fight. Thank you kindly. OP, a bit of decorum goes a long way. True, it wasn’t exactly what you’d asked for but a simple thank you goes a long way. Or even no response. A rude response to someone who was genuinely trying to be helpful is never a good look. And as you see it paints you in a very bad light.
Folks, c'mon, just let the thread quietly go. People get snappish sometimes; it happens. Maybe they were just lectured at by someone for something else and so having an infodump that was more than they asked for touches a nerve that's already raw. Maybe just the imperfect nature of text makes something come across as condescending when it wasn't meant to be.
The reason I said I was sorry to OP is because, simply, I figure it's polite. Sure, my intent in making the post was helpful, but if that touched a raw nerve or whatever -- even unintentionally -- then it seems only reasonable to say "oh, sorry!" and move on, just like you would if you accidentally bumped into someone or stepped on their foot on a crowded train or whatever.
If folks find the summary of savage drops helpful, yay! That's what it's intended to be. But there's nothing to be gained by just piling on and kicking OP repeatedly; it's neither relevant to the topic of the thread, nor likely to be productive.
I feel ya man. I like as little info as possible so I can come back and ask the other questions he was nice enough to answer before you knew it. Since the question you asked was something you should already know too.
Plus why even be an ass to the guy? Why even bother to read it if you thought it was too much?
