Greetings,
for a few days im having the issue of beeing unable to start the game in dx11 mode not even reaching the title screen. With the following error message showing:An unexpected error has occured. Exiting FINAL FANTASY XIV. 2021-12-15_21:28Reinstalled and updated drivers and reinstalled the game entirely. Tried starting in both full / windowed mode. Tried different frame limits. But to no use.

Hey, you have three applications installed which definitivelly affect FF14:
ACT
GShade
Immerse Gamepack
I would uninstall them first.
The second thing is, i would uninstall all motherboard, mouse, keyboard etc. software. It is not needed and can also cause trouble.

Hey, thanks for taking your time to reply.
Ive deinstalled ACT, Gshade and Immerse together with mouse and keyboard software. Sadly still no use and I still get the same error message before reaching the title screen.
Im not really sure what you mean with motherboard software since I think Ive never contiously used anything like that.

Your Win10 version is old, please use windows update or the media creation tool an run setup.exe so update inplace.
what is "Object store" for? is it neccessary to run in background?
remove OSD Sidekick from Gigabyte, its an extremely terrible software (i have gigabyte monitor myself). it nearly installs 20 different RGb drivers for non existent devices on your system that interfere with anything. -

This is the software i mean with "motherboard software". :) You have no benefits to have it installed. You only need GPU drivers, chipset drivers and maybe NIC drivers.Quote:

Hey, you have software like "ENE IO Driver" or "ENE_DRAM_RGB_AURA42" or "RGB fusion" installed. This is the software i mean with "motherboard software". You have no benefits to have it installed. You only need GPU drivers, chipset drivers and maybe NIC drivers.

remove OSD Sidekick from Gigabyte, its an extremely terrible software (i have gigabyte monitor myself). it nearly installs 20 different RGb drivers for non existent devices on your system that interfere with anything.
I´ve just ran the win update and according to that im on the latest version?
Sidekick got kicked. How can i identify the drivers you mentioned since it sadly didnt resolve the issue.
