What quest did it make you go do?

I don't recall any optional 60 content being made mandatory recently.

The only optional content that's become mandatory to my knowledge are the Crystal Tower alliance raids, but those are level 50 quests.

at 60 i was in 40 spot did lvl 80 in 10 days

Do you mean the exp gain from msq gets you overleveled for the content? I'm confused as well.

Beating the 80 story does not erase all pre-80 content nor does it auto clear it for you. If you are doing 60 quests after beating the 80 MSQ story, you've chosen to do it to yourself. You can safely ignore that content if you do not wish to do it. The only quests that "matter" as in they unlock the zones and access to other quests are the MSQ.

Again, what quest did it make you go do after you completed Shadowbringers?

We can't answer your question if you don't give us more specifics on what quest it made you do.

You overleveled.

You must have really focused on things other than the MSQ to have a class that over leveled for the MSQ.

If being over leveled bothers you focus hard on the MSQ and you'll eventually hit max level and be in the max level MSQ.

Then go back to doing other things.

Or power level another class to the level of the MSQ and use that one for the MSQ until you catch up to your main class again.

You have to progress through the MSQ to advance. You don't get to outlevel it. You can pay to skip it, but you can't just advance to the newest content without paying for that skip. I suggest you just continue the main story if you enjoy it. You're part way through Stormblood already anyway.

Also, "Will of the Moon" is clearly labelled a level 70 quest. It is not 60 by any measure. The zone is level 65 but this can't be the first time you've been sent back to an earlier zone for new story content, so why complain now?

You beat the content through 4.0. You now have patch content to catch up on. This is how story-centric MMOs work. Level an alt class.

You literally overleveled content. You have a fundamental misunderstanding of how the game works.

You're still doing the main scenario questline. Finish that. How fast you get to level 80 or 90 doesn't matter. This game isn't about speed.

This is an MMO, there's no such thing as "beating the game"
