I ran a few earlier, wasn't sure how i felt overall, was also slightly hard to parse due to my rested xp but i got roughly half a level from the 85 dungeon at level 86

About to find out right now!
I had a little rested EXP when i did the lvl 87 dungeon but i was at 50% exp at lvl 87 4 runs later i was 89
first boss with rested exp gave me 1 mil+ and without it was 800k+
I consistently found myself short on EXP whenever I transitioned to a new set of MSQ, but one extra dungeon tended to solve it.
Honestly, I don't think the EXP is the problem, I feel like the expansion so far is very light on dungeon and trial content.
They didn't only increase dungeon EXP, they also increased EXP gained from roulettes as well. MSQ Roulette used to give about 3/4 of a level, now I'm getting an entire level from it. Even PvP Roulette, used to give 2/4 of the bar or less now gives almost a whole level. Same with leveling and even trial roulette. Leveling alt jobs became way easier!
Its much better now and my pld is already lv86 with half way of the exp bar from msq roulette cus i dont like lv85 dungeon xD lol. I run my pld with Trust cus i dislike people running with them xD thats just me tho hahah
Before the patch I was leveling slightly slower than my trust party. Now it's faster than them.
I will also say
doing all 3 hunt slips gives 3 million exp all up
that is a little under 1/3 of exp for lvl 89
recommend people do them itll save you a dungeon or roulette
They increased them? Seems like a bad move. The basic MSQ EXP already outlevels you, I was level 90 before it entered the 6th zone without doing anything additional to the MSQ.
Are you joking? After I lvld 2 jobs to 81 on MSQ quests and hit the wall of 82 to progress, I did MSQ roulette and several extra leveling dungeons in order to gain a FULL level worth I was missing due to sharing it with a second job I still got to the point several times I had to do roulette to gain enough exp to progress.
Which would suggest dungeons were already an effective way of levelling alt jobs and didn't need an increase...
And yes, watching all that EXP vanish into the aether because you're already level 90 is kinda painful. XD
If you want to make leveling alt jobs easier, increase the armoury bonus, increase the EXP from FATEs and hunts, increase the EXP from roulettes.
Were the EXP amounts bad before? I admittedly only finished the MSQ the day before the Pandemonium Raid dropped, so I might've been oblivious based on quest EXP, but it seemed like I always got enough to get to the next level satisfactorily.
rather them increase dungeon exp because it gets people to do dungeons people need to progress MSQ.
I have no strong feelings either way about dungeon XP!
Too much is never enough.
It was a larger percentage of a level after the patch than before. Well over half a level in the 81 dungeon at level 81, around half of a level in the 81 dungeon at 82.
I ran a roulette or two along the way and hit 90 around the time I hit Zone 6.
I like the new content, so I like the change, though I wish it was more.
i try running just leveling dungeon (81+) for my alt job, without any rest bonus, about 5 run (with 3% food) for every 2 level
But it seem the exp receive lower from any roulettes except leveling?
Run MSQ roulette, fight Castrum Meridianum only about 1/3 -half a EXP bar. Have not yet test The Praetorium without any rest bonus
They boosted dungeon exp by about 50% new exp amount is virtually identical to old exp with rested amount.
Got from a mostly fresh 89 to 90 on my SCH in 2 runs. I think it's pretty good.
This was my finding as well - Trusts seem to get about 1/3 of a level per run, and now after the adjustment, I get about 1/2 of a level per run. For me, then, this is frustrating, because it means I'm going to outlevel my trusts. I could work up another job to take them through the rest of the dungeon runs they'd need to complete to get to cap, but I'd really prefer to keep progress even between the job I'm currently working on and the Trusts I'm currently working on, rather than switching it up like that. So, for me at least, I was happier with the way it was before as your character levelling speed pre-adjustment more closely matched your Trusts' levelling speed.
I went 81->90 Sage yesterday with the new dungeon exp, though granted I burned a lot of Tuesday reset bonuses.
Today I did Astrologian 80->89 without any of those bonuses. The new dungeon exp feels good. It used to take me 7 dungeons to get to the next dungeon, now it takes 5.5ish.
