What does... what does it even do?

If it's just lore then fuuuuck that.

If it gives you a permanent damage/defense bonus against beastmen then that's a whole different story.

"You exchange 25,000 Serpent Seals for a copy of On the Properties of Beastmen". It just puts the item in my key item page. Cant click it or anything like that :/

So... no idea what it does >.>

Have you tried killing/fighting beastmen? the Inferno/Vortex/Tremor seals may drop from primals/beastmen/beastmen NMs when holding the book?

I hope it remains useless as I'll never have 25k seals unless SE makes them obtainable from something people actually want to do.

That text is like the text from FF12 where you get the items to increase the drop rates from certain types of mobs.

almost sounds like a bestiary, though I'm not so sure now from these posts.

You can still buy the key item after purchasing it. Looks like if you want all 7, you're going to have to save up 7x25k seals D:

I wouldn't count on those seals being too common either, considering how easy and frequently you could kill the Hyrstmill boss.

Guess SE had to force people to play Hamlet Defense somehow.

I think that the beastmen leader in the hamlet is going to be the lvl 5 boss

If this all pans out to be true, it gives people a good time sink to work toward. I'm not saying that's necessarily a good or bad thing, but a lot of the content in this game seems to be blown through in a matter of days, not weeks or months.

After talking to the npc who trades you primal weps i can see the req for Af weps now. Need to be top 20 bot I mean supply ranking to get the coin drop after you farm 25k seals from toto rak or other means :).

This really isn't clear at the moment, so I wouldn't go so far to assume it'll be this ridiculous yet.

These 25k seal + Level 5 hamlet boss = AF weapon theories are terrifying me.

Dear lord, yes they are terrifying. Time to do Toto-Rak!

Just did a solo Toto-Rak run and filmed it. Funny how people still think a chest requirement is 25% of mobs killed.

It's probably for the new GC weapon from dats. People need to stop spreading rumors, this can't be requirements for AF weapon due to AF weapon will probably only be subpar like the other AF pieces.

How did you guys get all of those seals; did you just kill NMs and trade in their unique drops?

you obviously have no idea what top 20 provsioner rewards even are...they are ONLY crafting and gathering drops

everything else(combat related drops) come from the chest



also, as a few others said, i have a feeling this will be a drop that comes from the level 5 hamlet bosses on

Do a few Toto-rak runs with some friends great way to rack up seals. Tad tedious though.

i know a few people who do

It's a shame I can't do much with my Alchemist or Botanist to gain seals (trade ins are almost always maxed before I even know they switch lol)

Honestly if they do tie in AF weps with hamlets i wont even bother with it cuz i hate the content.

if they max out, check the timer on them, it resets in a bit over a day after they max out so you can turn them in again, and again, and again
