Final Zone Music Bugged After MSQ (Constant Lyrical Music)?

Is there any way to fix the bug where the final zone music changes permanently to the lyrical version of the BGM after MSQ ends? It's a hassle to constantly turn off the BGM, or play other things in the background, just to have to revert it upon leaving the zone after gathering, etc.

Does reinstalling the game fix this bug? It's driving me absolutely insane.

EDIT: Opened a support ticket. There's no way this is working as intended.

It isn't necessarily a bug, though I do vastly prefer the original theme to the song that plays after a certain point.

I don't think it's a bug. The music evolves as you quest through the zone. Personally I don't mind having it constantly playing, but I'd love to have it loop through all the variants and ending with the lyric version.

Support this. Waited for Chi and is unfortunately quite tired of the song already...

I wish it played that final version without the lyrics, it's a good song no doubt but the lyricless version is better as BGM for a zone and the vibe of the song gives me mad Outer Wilds vibes and the lyrics just kinda ruin it.

Yeah they need to go back to the original music for the zone after you finish MSQ.

It's fine for some people but not for others. I'm in the camp of "this lyrical song is going to drive me insane if I listen to it one more time." Same with the Sharlayan music. It's gorgeous, I liked it, but on a loop it quickly becomes grating to my ears.

I mute BGM in both zones.

The final bgm for the last zone is truly horrible. I mean nice to listen to for like 10min and then it just...idk...driving me crazy. Can't imagine spending like hours for the fates in that zone with bgm on...

Unfortunately not a bug. The orchestrion roll of that zone is that song.

Having constantly the lyrics is driving me insane. I looked up the muffled version, which plays first when we arrive, and it fits so much better!
If anything, that song should only play in the final section of the zone but not outside of it. It's a horrible background music, while great for the epic moment.

Whenever I arrive there, I quickly type in /bgm to turn it off. I'm so glad I don't have to fate there anymore.

10/10 zone music, no notes.

I agree with this. I’d like for it to evolve with each region of the final zone—kind of like it did as we worked through it. Though, a loop would also be nice.

It's not a bug, as you progress through the zone the song becomes less and less distorted until it reveals the real song. Though I admit, even though the singing is actually pretty damn good, I would enjoy just having the instrument only version playing at this point.

It's a some will like it, some won't situation.

I've spent many hours in the final zone both fishing and FATE grinding, and I'm still enjoying the BGM when I go there (even have it set up on the Orchestrion in my house, though on loop with a couple of other songs). I think for me it really is the lyrics that make the difference because they're telling the story.

I do like the idea of having the BGM loop through all the progressing stages for the zone, though.

Either way, hoping SE investigates it.

As Shialan said, it's not a bug so there's nothing to investigate.

It's also not the first time they've changed the zone BGM based on MSQ progression. They did it in Kholusia as well.

If you don't enjoy the BGM while in the zone, turn it off temporarily. That's what I would do when gathering in Diadem. That music drove me nuts on loop. Once I finished with my gathering and left, I turned BGM back on.

I love the zone music here, please don't change it.
