Dark Knight vs Reaper vs Black Mage vs Ninja

Out of all the dark and shadowy job classes, who do you think would win in an all out free for all battle between the four?

Just thought this would be a fun little thing to see debate about. :3

They wouldn't battle.

They'd be the goth clique.

And talk about how everyone is a sell out conformist. Especially the Paladins and Whitw Mages. x3

Ninja has my vote, all the NIN has to do is wait in the shadows until the rest are exhausted and hope the RPR isn't the last one standing.

I think Black Mage is actually the most powerful job in lore, aside from maybe Summoner. Didn't a bunch of them end up causing a Calamity (along with White Mages)? The kind of danger that presents suggests to me that they're more dangerous than anything any other job is capable of.

Dark Knight with a Healer > Black Mage with Prep > Reaper > Ninja > Black Mage with no prep > Dark Knight (lol no sustain)

DRK, to angry to die and can simply outlast the others.

That was the result of a drawn out war between Amdapor (White Mages) and Mhach (Black/Void Mages). The Calamity of Water actually came about iirc because between both sides, every element of aether was being spent but water, which led to the flood happening.

NIN would just hide and assassinate whoever was left.

I wouldn't be so sure about that~ Remember, in the lore, Reapers were basically the mercenaries and assassins of the Garleans long before their discovery of magitek. They're dwellers of the shadows as well, so I'd think Reaper would wind up spotting Ninja hiding and force them out in the open.

Dark Knight Self Resurrecting for the Seventh Time: "I'm just to angry too die..." *Quickly rushed at Reaper with great sword raised, forcing Reaper to go on the defensive*

Ninja would kill the squishy Black Mage, Reaper would kill Ninja after their burst is gone, Dark Knight would kill the Reaper because as it turns out they've been getting healed the whole time by a White Mage who started the fight to begin with, then finally the WHM would kill the DRK.

Blood for the Blood Lily.

The main thoughts would be that DRK potentially outlasting everyone else and just chipping away at them, or NIN using Hide until it's a 1v1 and nuking the other one before they can react.

Save for DRK, one of other two would die first if they don't kill BLM before he finishes Swiftcast + x2 Triple Cast.

The winner is the one with the most kupotastic display of exquisite glamour. <3 kupo

The winner is the AST who, seeing the dead party, finally has an excuse to use LB3 and show off Astral Stasis.

Strange that in a thread about dark jobs SMN wasn’t included. They literally have a spell called ruin. And once had abilities called Bane and Fester. Actually they might still have Fester. Not sure, hasn’t played it in EW yet.

Dark Knight really aren't Goth, more Black Metal imo.

The obvious answer is ninja, and if you don't know why, that's why.

Eh, White Mages are the " I'm not like the other healers!" kind of healer.
