When I open the launcher and log in with my credentials, I get the following error:
"A technical issue has occurred. Try accessing the site again. If the issue still isn't resolved, please contact the SQUARE ENIX Center"
What's going on? I have been waiting in queue for 3 hours and now I get this?!
Same thing is happening to me. I waited 3 hours and actually managed to log in to my character, only to get booted from the game, and now I can't get past the launcher.
I tried logging into Mogstation and the Lodestone as well, but I get the same errors.
What happened?! Did they say anything?
I am having the exact same issue, getting the exact same messages. Cannot log into Mogstation or game launcher. I was in queue for about an hour when this happened.
Was having this same issue in the early AM's today. The one they said they fixed. Hope this isn't a recurring issue :c
Yup, add my wife's account/computer to this list.
With the DirectX errors, disconnect errors and now this... it's incredibly frustrating trying to play.
This is honestly murdering me..
I just don't understand how after this long things are getting worse. I'm losing confidence in the people that are handling this.
Happening to me too. Looks like this happened earlier today and fixed - and broke again. There’s a post on lodestone about the issue earlier today - same error message happening now

I hope this helps, i just got kicked off the game and had this error, i loaded up the mog station, logged into it fine and then tried my launcher again and everything was fine.
FF_XIV_EN's Twitter post said "While we don't yet know the full scale of the issue, we are currently investigating it."
I don't know the proper method to add myself to the count of people affected, so I'm saying it here! I'm experiencing the same issue as the OP.
