Login Server Down?

Went to log in to the launcher, and a red error message replaced the login box. It appears to be repeated in 4 languages: Japanese, German, English, and French.

"An error has occurred. Please try again later."

Popped up an incognito window and tried to log into forums:

"A technical issue has occurred.
Try accessing the site again. If the issue still has not been resolved, please contact the SQUARE ENIX Support Center."

Same thing on Mog Station

Good to know this was not just me. I thought my ffxiv broke. I 90k’d then got this message when trying to log in again.

Changed my password, and get the same error.

To the people who are getting this error what where you doing at the time?

Sorry for the double post. Seems to be okay now. (Least for me anyway)

NO idea if this was just a coincidence, but I log onto mogstation with a different web browser and re-opened the launcher, and it finally let me in without that error. I assume getting log into the mogstation unfroze the error and that is why it worked.

I was locked out and tried to change my password but my one time code wasn't working. Reset my phone and the one time code worked to change my password and let me in. Still kinda iffy tho, tried to log onto the lodestone and it didn't work right away.

Can't log in. Was logged in this morning. Changed password but still getting same error message. Any fix?

Happened to me just now. Got 5003'd out and now I can't get past the launcher. Was 300ish in the queue too :(

Same. But I was 700ish in the queue.

Sweet! Gradually whittled my way down to Q number 900. Got an error and now the launcher problem.

Was in the game and got kicked. Getting the same error trying to login.

Nope, everything is fine, and SE will be sure to let us know soon that our own connection is to blame.

Yeah I just got to under 500 after a couple of hours. So close.... and I have to work tomorrow so I guess I have to give up for the night. A couple of wasted hours of my life.

Hey I was in game.... and servers still showing green....

Not sure if they can fix this.

Took about 20 minutes to get it back online this morning.

The final days are upon us, the servers were burning and bugs rampaged the land.

Still broken here. Can't log on to game or mog station.

Any official announcement about this yet? This is not the same as the 2002 we've been getting. It's worse.

Yeah that's a lie. Myself with all of my FC are unable to log in.

I can't even access the mogstation on any browser, i get the exact same error that i get on the launcher "A technical error has occurred, try accessing the site again"

It was on twitter this morning but can't find the official tweet not showing anymore in my timeline.

Well the plus side here is that this has reminded me the dark mode launcher exists lol

I just got booted from the game with a 90002 error, then a 5003 (I think?) and am now getting the error shown above at the launcher step.

So while this all sucks, it's actually the first time I've been kicked from the game since EW launched. It's been a good run over here! :X

It wasn't...because I remember actually having fun. Unlike now, when I've mostly been playing Queue Babysitter since early access started.

Yeah Raubahn EX was a joke compared to the mess that is EW...

yeah i was in game and a bunch of us from my FC got disconnected and same weird technical difficulty message when we try to log back in.

404 End walker.exe not found

Luckily this seems to've hit everyone. JP, NA, EU, we'all eff'd.

The launcher crashed apparently. Can't even login to the game at all.

Some of my friends are still logged into the game.
