Low APM Classes for EW for carpal tunnel syndrome players?

What currently low APM classes for EW ??? and also which would be better range dps/magic range dps ?

Magic DPS are lower APM and new SMN sounds perfect for you.

It's very low APM but feels powerful and fun.

Classes that mainly use gcd and have very little weaving.


All healers are one-button DPS. They have weaving, but it is for healing and situational.


Warrior mainly uses gcd.



Reaper plays kinda like a DPS Warrior with a lot of gcd.


Black Mage is kinda chill with cast time.


The new Summoner is gcd-focus.


Ranged DPS tends to be slightly weaker than Magical and Melee, but they make that up by being mobile. For caster, even Red Mage and Summoner have a lot of instant-cast moments, they still have moments of stand-still casting. Nothing to say about Black Mage in mobile department and their ley line meme.

buy some equipment like a gamer mouse it will save you

healers... the 80% of time u will casting 1 spell if u put it on a good button u are good

tanks are mostly safe too (not GNB )

cant say about blm now , but is an option

rdm/smn they have some spam time , (titan , fester ,garuda )

dnc is another option , not a lot of OGCDs (fans and buffs)

They actually make it worse because it doesn't change the way your arm rests on the desk. A vertical mouse will help. I use one.

I assume you are only interested in dps jobs. So BLM is mainly long cast times GCD class. New summoner is is pretty good choice too. Wouldn;t go with ranged physical they are all spammy and fast. Melees are mostly spammy too because lot of them have some kinda of haste buff lowering GCDs, Reaper maybe is only that can be a bit slower.

I have good luck playing DNC with a controller. It is a pretty high APM class but I think the controller makes a difference. Try playing a controller and wearing some gloves and see how it suits you.

(I have pretty bad carpal tunnel and this game was borderline unplayable until I switched to controller)

So alot people now saying smn hmm did enjoy summoner back before heavenward was first expansion have caster gear to 80 ^^

BLM is mostly hardcasts with the ability to force instant casts for movement. The only oGCDs are buffs on set cooldowns. Plus it gets a new rotation at 90 after getting paradox the really helps it in more hectic content
