Upcomming Primals?

After curiosity hit me tonight and a bit of searching rendered useless :confused:, Is there any news on if and what new Primals would be coming to us in FFXIV?
And if so what Primal would you like to see next? :cool:

In the 2.0 concept art there are pictures of leviathan and Odin. I think leviathan will be like ifrit and Garuda, but apparently Odin is gonna roam around eorzea and become more powerful each time he is defeated.

Titan and Leviathan has been in the dats since launch, but they weren't released (i'm assuming) because of the similarities to 2011 Earthquakes in Japan.

That's interesting, im guessing in 2.0 Garuda and Ifrit will be gone then in the change to Ezorea or does anyone know if Primals released before 2.0 will still be around?

yes they will still be there

One of my linkshell member's game bugged out one night after some chain crashes, and when he was checking his timers for Garuda, "Gaia's Coliseum (Hard)" showed up in it. So I'd say Titan is probably one of the next ones.

Seems possible. Though it could be the scrapped quest mentioned above that has been replaced with Garuda. We don't have any new information on whats next at this time I believe other than your friend's glitch.

Yeah, even though Leviathan is already in the dats, they'd have to create a lot of new content for it. We haven't even seen so much as a Sahagin yet, and they appear to be the beast tribe affiliated with Leviathan. I don't think Leviathan (or Titan even) will make it in by 1.23 unless they have a big trick up their sleeve.

the sahagin are in the artwork so it seem like it plan more for 2.0 and titan is pretty much done he in the dats the area is there the beastman is there all they need is more backstory the battle system for him and there done but i don't see them releasing time soon like you side not if they have something up their sleeve which i hope they do.

Question is: Are we going to have even more new beast tribes than we previously thought for the implementation of new primals, or is it that they're going to develop primals that no one worships or what not.

they need to put more shit in limsa is all i ask lol b/c no one go there beside uldah b/c middle town and grinda b/c all prime fight there

Well we're still missing the Sahagin for Leviathan so they should make an appearance at some point. Also, from the main storyline, the Sylphs mentioned fearing the consequences of summoning their own Primal. So it could be that we may see whichever one that is in the future. There could also be one associated with an as of yet unintroduced beast tribe near Ishgard, if they decide to do so. The Ixal have a pretty big presence in Coerthas, so maybe they don't want to add anything else there, however Garuda seems to be having the most devastating impact upon Gridania..so I dunno.

Well we should get Titan and Leviathan there for sure since Titan is associated with the Kobolds and Leviathan with the Sahagin. Probably won't see these till 2.0 though. :(

the only thing i hope is that after relaunch they most likely change the level cap, so if theres a way they could make new ifrit and garuda battle, more skills, more difficulty so we can upgrade our current weapons, that at least will keep us busy

Speaking of Summons i've heard people mention Odin and Bahamut. I wonder if Carbuncle has been talked about, or is that something that would come to the drawing board when they release info if summoner will come to this game. :confused:

they said if SMN is release as a job in ffxiv you get carbuncle but the other primals would be more of a free company type of thing where if your the first free company to kill ifrit within 1week reset you allow to summon the god in battle you the leader of the free company would have control on who is allow to summon this god only leader member or person a,b, or c. So SMN wont be allow to summon ifrit but they may get carbuncle.

The cool fact about allowing us to summon the god that everyone on eorzea would know because if ifrit is summon it would turn dark and red and maybe ash would fall from the sky which i think is a good idea and can't wait to see it added to the game./

No this is very interesting, because i am prob the one out of the loop when it comes to this stuff. So you are saying only a few people in the game will be able to summon the primal at a time. I.E Uldah kills it first in the reset and the GC Leader will be able to summon it and pick a few other to do the same. Till next Reset?

Not really. In 2.0 if you look at the map the sahagin SH will be in Limsa. Unless they surprise us with unannounced primals before 2.0, that doesn't really come into the equation.

Not GC free company is a guild type system you allow to have a Free company building where you can hang out and store item and a company bank. Linkshell would be used for none endgame event like social stuff if your free company kill ifrit before anyone else you allow to summon him in battle. When you summon ifrit they said you may need more then 4 players to summon him i guessing this is so not one person can summon him when everyone else is dead and win the boss. Yoshi-p said that the primals are gods in eorzea and it be unfair to allow everyone to summon a god or just have a small % of his power like in FFXI so he making it so you allow to summon the full power of ifrit into battle.

So if you fighting a hard endgame boss and he by 20-30% and you free company is starting to lose you could summon ifrit and he could pretty much win the fight for you there still a % you may lose by you have a god on your hand pretty much. The idea behind this to have competition between free company. The fan of summon class are little mad that they can't summon ifrit but i mean i think this idea is 100x better then allowing 10 summoner in your party have ifrit out in battle lol.

we talking about for the next patch not 2.0 we still 5-6 month away from that but we are 1-3month away from the next and last patch before 2.0 hit so anything in 2.0 maps does not matter when we talking about 1.0 maps :) which if they going to release other primals titan would be the best bet.
