Zadnor: Idle Simulator Endwalker Edition

Just sharing an observation: people in zone 3 just standing idle because there are no fates. People then suggesting to kill magitek to help speed fate spawn but no one really reacting or acting on it. This feels bad if you are like one of the few who do bother with killing magitek in that zone. As it creates situations where the few people that do bother, pull the magitek into the idling mob and getting blasted for it. GCBTW.

A lot of people don't seem to understand that killing the mobs is what spawns the skirmishes and CEs, so they just idle thinking it's timer-based.

And then if you do start killing magitek a FATE will spawn and everyone will run and clear it before you can finish off the mob or run out of its aggro range.

Glad I'm finished with it for now.

That's the main problem of why people dont kill magitek. I've used to do it, then i figured out that whenever a FATE pop, i'm all alone on thoses, unable to pop my mount, just running, by the time to get to the FATE, it isn't up anymore.

Also that is a big issue. It feels like borderline reportable, both the people that are not waiting for people to get to the fate, as well as people just standing idle. There is no winning this conundrum

Well, for the most part it should be. It's the game's job to provide us with something to do. I feel there should never be a time when there isn't an active FATE/GATE for players to engage with. It's fine to have several with conditions, but there should also be multiple flex slots for basic ones that will always be ready to go active and fill the void.

I'm personally kind of sad that nobody bothers doing dalriada/castrum. Chaining fates with so many people is so boring. It's a constant race and the fates are over in a flash, making them completely uninteresting. And on the other side, while CEs are fun 90% of the players die on the first few mechanics, making the whole affair take forever.

I wouldn't waste your time with zadnor, just use a different leveling method.

Yeah, I find that odd. Apparently Dal and Cas are 'too slow' for exp grind. ...as I am told by someone in the idle crowd... Like wth... Not everyone is grinding levels. I tried a 3 man dal, of which one person happened to be a first timer in dal. Needless to say we wiped and failed and this person is now likely forced to wait until the endwalker insanity has died out so dal fills up again. feel bads all around

It is okay-ish. Dungeon spam certainly is faster but people just being utterly deadweight by iddling certainly is not making zadnor faster nor fun.

Castrum isnt too bad at prime time, usually can get 32 players, I barely found more than 12 people in Dalriada even at prime time

To be honest, Dalriada and Castrum should probably be dungeons you can queue anyway. Like Delebrum.

Slap a side quest to complete them all in Gangos, tack a meaty XP reward on to it, problem solved.

I would love that tbh. But I doubt it is going to happen. Because that would mean they would need to do it for Eureka stuff too.
