Once again new jobs don't get any cool trial weapons

Not even the level 70 or 80 ones. No Hades, no Shinryu, no nothing. They pulled what they did to Dancer and Gunbreaker during Shadowbringers AGAIN.

Do you know how miserable it felt to go several patches without cool weapons while all of the older jobs were able to equip cool things? It really sucked. I hoped very hard that I wouldn't have to go back to this when playing a new job, but it seems that Square Enix didn't hear us when we were upset about it last time. I spent several patch cycles feeling a dread of jealousy for other jobs while I was maining dancer from early Shadowbringers until we at the least got Shinryu. Now that I'm playing sage, I am afraid the same feeling will happen again. I'm going to try to sate some of my salt by farming the glow weapons from the deep dungeons, but to me they still aren't the same as the gorgeous crafted weapons we have in the game.

I get taking the time and resources slowly on things, but can they at least give us one or two of these per patch? It's getting ridiculous. This is not a standard that should be followed in future expansions, but here we are again.

Sorry. Yeah, it sucks. Just have to hope they'll get to it.... eventually.

sdaly its the last problem this time. there no new gear sets as well, only reused one. and they take lots of extra time for this expansion as well. hope its not to show what's to come

i did trial got to 60 . bought the game yesterday . and got new patch and zero charters i lost my lvl 60 with every thing i had = done. no charter no game

I wasn't expecting any, and I know it's probably like... Close to the bottom in terms of priorities. Still kinda disappointing though. I mean, some of the primals would make for GREAT scythe designs.

I'm. I'm a little confused on whether you meant to put this in this thread or not but. You mean the trial version of the game right? Stupid question probably but are you sure you're looking at the right server? Sometimes it defaults to a different one when you select the data center.

Also make sure you bought the right version of the game (and transferred the existing trial account to the full version) because there are three for... Some ungodly reason.

It makes SO MUCH SENSE with the job actions. Some of them literally reuse the hades animations. I'll never understand why they didn't do this.

Pokémon fans and ff14 are very similar, when the game starts to wane you know they’ll defend it regardless of quality. I just hope it never gets to that point

A multi-billion dollar company who has repeatedly bragged how Endwalker sold more than three times that of Shadowbringers needs to delay weapon aesthetics in a game they constantly tout as glamour being the true endgame?

My expectations were low, but a large part of me felt that a crafted Hades weapon for both jobs were going to make the cut. Sadly it did not. It just seems like a huge missed opportunity. If they handle it like they did in Shadowbringers, they should get something in 6.1, and then absolutely nothing until 6.5. lol As to what that something is...it's hard to say.

I’d like to add salt on the wound by saying the crafted weapons in 80s are as follows:

82- Fae/Castrum Abania
84-Shire tome
86- Scaevan (which was the only 70 weapons your able to get besides your starter and HoH)
88- Chromite model from 70 crafted (and recycled to the 72 model too)
With 90 being the only unique model

So…why can’t they add Chromite for SGE and REP? Or even Shire? And since 70+ has repeats too like Ala Migan? It makes no sense

Yeah, I went with the Kinna scythe from PoTD since the glowing red at least matches the avatar animations.

It's disappointing, but at least the PotD weapons look nice.

That's what I went with.

I'm not expecting them to add those prior weapons until the missing genders are both added and the 2 new races are compatible with head gear, personally speaking.

Honestly I'm not to upset about it. I have been Lvling reaper and so far its starting scythe is the best looking one. Gives some bloodborne vibes which I dig.

Then it becomes a case of attack of the clones

SB didn’t have this issue, SAM and RDM had tons of options. It s a scythe it’s not difficult to make it cool and the one cool one has already been recycled

True but the same could be said if they had put in a hades scythe. Yeah it sucks they just recycled looks and I hope they put some more cool ones in but I'm happy using the starter scythe for the time being.

Dissapointed but not surprised. Let's hope they give hades scythe in 6.1. Though I prefer they didn't make crystarium reaper and sage weapons, and instead use the time/resources to give us the hades one for 6.0.

At least Hellhound weapons were added day 1 this time instead somewhere along the middle of the expansion :p

SHB had both SB pvp weapons and Hellhound and still have significantly less than SB jobs
