Thanks for kicking people out of queue. Thanks for allowing 3rd party add-ons to connect without problems. Thanks for all these fine streamers getting an easy in to the game.

Thanks for delaying the game for that.

people using third party launcher got in while the SE launcher prevented many from playing. So cheaters got in first. All big streamers seems to be playing just fine.

Pure luck. Using the quicklauncher or the official launcher has led to not being able to get in for me.

That explains a lot. SE launcher was a nightmare. Friends got in just fine, that use it.

I get the frustration, but you'll get in. Chiiiiilllllllll. Most expansion launches (if not all) are like this. It can of course always be done better in hindsight but raging on the forums won't let you get in any faster. They already have a stance against havibg software to check for 3rd party programs for privacy reasons. I agree getting kicked and immediately losing your queue sucks though. Once you start playing you'll forget about it. Give it about 2 weeks tops for things to be back to normal.

Hard to fix this issue when parts you need to fix this have been backordered for half a year or more. Hell, we've been waiting on servers at my work for a year.

Ya just wait 2 weeks when no one can play because Christmas. You won't get spoiled trust me. Also Shadowlands launches which had arguably way more players did just fine. In fact, it did so fine you didn't even notice there was an expansion launch.

Gee, its almost as if there was a completely unprecedented and impossible to predict influx of new players during a time when a global pandemic screwed the supply chain and made a critical component for servers unable to be produced, thereby crippling SE's ability to react to a change that no one could have foreseen. That would be wild if it were true, but its totally not. SE is just incompetent, amirite?

I mean, you'll still be able to log in within this weekend and play. I was referring more to queues being back to normal by then. I get why you're annoyed though, but don't let it ruin your experience. Anyway, enjoy the expansion once you get in!

Sorry but are you defending a billion dollar company from being unable to deliver a functioning product to paying customers who don't use 3rd party cheating software? Cause that sounds awfully like what it is.

It is functioning. People are in and playing, people that aren't using the 3rd party launcher are in and playing. You are just upset you aren't.

They could be a trillion dollar company. You can't buy something that can't be produced.

And as for your third party launcher claim, your proof of that is "I know some people who did it".

If you've ever paid for a class that involved supply chain management or any kind of science, get your money back.

Stop the lying. I was able to get on the game through the official launcher straight at 4est. It works, it takes a bit, but friends still getting in through official launcher

I can give the 2002 due to so many people trying to log in a pass, but I shouldn't be disconnecting multiple times from a queue. Something's wrong if you get into a queue and the server disconnects you.

This. Pretty hard to blame SE for this. And by the way, if you get booted from queue, as long as you log back in fast enough you keep your spot. OP needs to chill.

I still think 2.0 was better then 4.0. Again 2.0 was just game being full at least for me laggy and other issue. 4.0 was years after stuffing their pockets with transfer cash and designing a broken system rendering the game stuck. Ques and DC are expected companies want to save money and customers suffer. Poor design is intentional.

There is a 3rd party launcher that saves your login credentials so you don't have to type them each time you're kicked to desktop. Why that functionality isn't in the official launcher is anyone's guess. But that's about it.

So it's not so much that it's allowing people to get in over the regular launcher, it's just saving them time spent typing.

Dude you need to get over it and no launch that I'm aware doesn't have long queues. I got kicked and got the same spot in the queue when I relogged. It's a numbers thing.

I did look it up and there is one "quick launcher" but from what i have seen and to your case and point it does not bypass the server queue/load. It just offers qol
