It is time! Well, almost...queue is at 2k something something

Insane queues but almost there folks! Darn the shortages of semiconductors. :mad:

I still can't even log-in the data center and it's about to be my 5th attempt, I think Aether is struggling right now lol

Still downloading the patch with occasional launcher crash! Gonna see through this!

Yeah, my queue started around 2000 or so. It has taken about 10 minutes to drop to 1451. This is going to take some time. Debating whether I want to go back to sleep or not, but then I'd feel defeated. It's basically a tradition for me to be logging in when the servers go live. :p

Ah, so the server crashes last week were warm-ups to prepare us for today.

I think if you watch the queue intently and not blink, it will do something magical... :cool:

Queue 3900, yes there are a lot of players back, wondering about prime time login queue.

Nice got to 750 after being 2562 when i started and got kicked out of the game with error lobby and now way over 3000 on the waiting list.... this going to be a long day

Lobby server is crashing for me. Was 2701 queue on Tonberry

6th boot with 2002.

I was able to get to the queue, get to 941, and now it keeps giving me 2002 errors. ;w;

My que started at 2145. Got to 1655 then I got a message that said "The Lobby Server connection has encountered an error". I have not been able to connect since. This will be my 4th attempt now.

Not happy at all. Didn't Square Enix not anticipate this would happen ?? >.<

Could access Light but I'm being constantly 2002'd when trying to access Chaos where my characters are.
This wouldn't be as half as aggrivating if the GODDAMN CLIENT DIDNT FORCE CLOSE ON 2002/5006 ERRORS! -.-;;;;;;;;

Got in, played a little. Chatted in the mentor chat, got a bluescreen ;). Maybe bit more voltage haha. Back to 5k queue

All those experiences from Stormblood are coming back.....

I managed to get to <100 then got hit with that error. Going on 20 tries to reconnect since.

Would be cool if Square added trusted network option like the other games do. Typing that two step verification each time again and again and again is bit tiresome

I got 2002 at first as well then I got in. Currently at 725 from about 2600. Been about 20 25 minutes or so since I watched the movie again first. I wouldn't be surprised if Aether is finicky.

This launched is worst experience I had come across. Never expect that SE has done with so many expansion, yet failed on this.

First q is 3000 over, when it reduced to 500 over, popped with Lobby error... that’s insane. This never happened from last expansions...

Now many to log in to lobby after 20+ times trying, I’m at 6k+ waiting list.

Early access of day 1 - gone.

I'm going to assume you haven't been part of many launches if this is the worst you've seen. I wouldn't even say this is the worst XIV expansion launch.

Really this is the worst in the 8 years you played? SE doesn't deserve nearly the amount of credit it gets. But this is just full servers, it isn't a design flaw like stormblood.



I do think only 17,000 people on a shared login server is a little sad and should be on the list to be upgraded in next two years permanently or temporarily for certain patches.

You want a better one? I got kicked out of queue at position 300. I cant log in now and the streamer privilege seems more real then ever. Nice 2 week extra wait for nothing Square. Getting beaten by blizzard on expansion launch. GJ

I have been with them since ARR, this is worst I had come across. I’m sharing my own experience. Or perhaps I was lucky in last few packs?

I can't aggree to this. I got also a queue of 2.8k and was two times kicked with an error, but always got my queue place back after log in. Now I'm in an playing. Personally, for me one of the smoothest launches of all expansions right now.

The Problem is we have more players then server´s and because of the pandemic square enix cant buy new servers
