AST main, I like neutral sect. Nocturnal stance sucks comparatively to diurnal and I too miss the old cards, it seems our new self buff will be filled with frustrating rng that we cannot mitigate with sleeve draw as well since it is gone.

I'll miss the story and especially the villains

pity we didn't get to say good riddance to shb job changes. looks like Ast, drk, bard, mch, whm, sch, and warrior are going to remain dead with no to little identity or depth.

perhaps one day SE will put some effort into healers and tanks to give them back identities

ShB took the vast majority of SCH and AST's toolkit behind a shed and lobotomized them in a desperate attempt to bring them down to WHM's level instead of giving WHM literally anything to even the odds with the other's raid buffs and plentiful oGCD heals, and stripped their DPS capabilities beyond the bone with riveting 2 1 1 1 1 1 spam, repeat ad nauseam. And Endwalker is just doubling down on that mentality by giving even more off global heals and shields while every other class gets more self-healing options to take the "pressure" off of healers even further.

At this point, I'm just here to see how the rest of the story plays out. Not even gonna spare a second glance at the healer role, dumbed down as it is. The curebots can have em for all I care.

I mean can you blame someone for not having hype with how many failed and horrible feelings people got after the things drop?

Personally I'm hyped just saying game industry's have kind of made being hype a bad thing anymore.

its not cringe its personalize with what you care about. Ifirt was a crush of mine since I first saw him in ff7 watching my cousin play it which got me into jrpgs anyways.

Ok, whatever you enjoy that's completely for you, you can be as creative as you want with your macros since they're supposed to be personalized for only you.

...Doesn't mean that other people don't find it cringey. But at the very least it's slightly more bearable than the couple macros in this game. Now those I can't stand.

Speaking of the Archon Loaf, someone actually decided to try making it in real life. Even for an improvised recipe, the end result is shockingly accurate to the game, and tastes as disgusting as you'd expect.

Lmao, that Ifrit person reminds me of the character I met back before Crystal DC was a thing.

I was on my Balmung person, before I got into RP in XIV, and I saw this Miqote. They were named, "Ifritswife." And they had a Tumblr link in their examine comment, which was a Tumblr page of them getting Rule 34'd with Ifrit. lmao

That was back in like 2015, maybe early 2016.
