Did Lamia crash?

Seems like there may have been a massive server crash? I got booted, then tried to log into various characters on Lamia in the Primal DC. The queue is about 1.5k. Guessing everyone got booted?

I can log in to my toons on other servers.

I think Primal was hit. Excal went down too.

All of NA is down. I am scared for the EW release.

They are prepping for EW they want us to get use to Queue times.

Game died evverywhere. It also happened for a second time now.

Aaaaand I was in a BA run.

It seems the entire login lobby is dead now

I think we're in the middle of another DDOS attack or whatever. Bunch of people got booted from the servers.

Entire game seems to have been hit by a nasty ddos attack.

I've had weird disconnects for the past day or so on Chaos as well. Oddly enough it only happened in duties, not outside of them.

And here I was just thinking this was the game's way of telling me to go the hell to sleep for work tomorrow.

Got disconnected from Midgardsormr in the middle of a prae run.

Was hoping to get back in, but I was met with this:

Was in the middle of a cutscene myself. When Feo Ul said she'd lend me her strength this isn't what I had in mind.

Are the NA data centers getting ddos'ed now? Got disconnect error to the point I had to sign back in completely. sat in a 700 queue and got the same error again 20 seconds after getting back into the game. Now waiting on a 1000+ queue. Given the time it's definitely not due to traffic unless a streamer with a fan base the size of Pekora's decided to start streaming FFXIV on a NA world...

We're all having issues and login errors. I think they are pre-testing the servers for load stresses. At least that's what it feels like. Maybe they tripped over the main plug to each server.

SE posted an update on the Lodestone about it, apparently it's caused by technical issues with a third party NA internet provider, although they stated it's been fixed. Clearly that is not the case...

Even better: Maybe they set up a task queue to begin updating the servers for Endwalker, but nobody remembered to change it when the delay was announced, and that process is deep-backend enough in some way that it doesn't directly talk to the front-end, so the lodestone and launcher are simply failing because they can't talk to the game anymore.

Better Better: It's running the scripts to alter/remove items in player inventories right now.
