Once again, I see a bunch of players trying to kill some giant mob, with the "FATE Joined" banner. I land, target, start hitting keys, and after a few seconds, realize I'm not doing anything because I forgot to sync.
Please, make it so when we target a FATE mob, just sync us automatically, instead of requiring a separate action.

I've done that plenty of times myself, so I feel the pain, but I feel like I run through FATE circles quite often when I'm just trying to get somewhere else. It would get a bit annoying having your HP/MP drop instantly just because you didn't run around the outskirts of the FATE.
When I'm in FATE mode, I just use a quick macro - /levelsync on - and bind it to an easy key to hit. With that said, I'd be down if this was an option you could toggle in your settings. -

Use this macro for your mount and unmounting.
/micon "Company Chocobo" mount
/mount "Company Chocobo"
/levelsync on
Just replace "Company Chocobo" with the name of the mount you wish to use. You can also just put "Mount Roulette" if you want to do a random mount. -

For the most part I find FATEs just not worth the bother. The xp is awful (about 25% of what it should be). If the FATE is busy trying to get credit on anything other than a tank is an exercise in frustration as is trying to join/form an ad-hoc group on the fly. Many of them get stupidly grindy if the zone population spikes.
I want an option I can toggle to completely disable all FATE related notifications and disable their UI from showing in the quest tracker. If only we could write our own addons. -

I press the sync button and it doesn't register half the time so I start my opener only to discover I am not synced, so I sync and lose all my opener buffs.
