Warrior Run Animation

I hate it so so soooooo much.

While you're sprinting it looks good but just normal running with an axe out looks stiff and bad.

Praying it at some point it gets changed. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be accurate to some lore or how people used to run with axes but just bleh I'm not a fan at all.

It looks good imo but I think male characters have a different animations.
Female characters have it raised a bit higher but I think that male characters are almost dragging it on the ground?

Dragoon's is very similar too (I think it's the ARR classes/jobs in general tbh... although a lot of people seem to prefer Rogue's over Ninja), though I recently noticed Estinien used a unique running animation (basically a slowed down version of the sprint) during his solo duty in the ShB patches. Will they ever switch to that one? Who knows...?

There's a bunch of jobs that came after ARR whose run and/or sprint I can't stand, myself. Dark Knight's run is... weird but not outright terrible, its sprint on the other hand... what the hell is that stance? It think both of Red Mage's are awful, too. I know Gunbreaker's sprint is a FFVIII reference, but it bothers me that it's identical in stance to Samurai's run..

You might be thinking of Roegadyn/Hrothgar who have a unique stance as WAR (for... whatever reason?), though I don't know if the run/sprint are any different

Which is funny, because it's just the Gladiator stance. Seems to be the default, all of the crafting and gathering jobs use it too.

like scissors, you shouldnt run with axes...

probably looks fine, its just your subconscious screaming at you for doing something dangerous

It ok but could be better I guess, hopefully, they do model updates and animation updates in 7.0 to be honest.

Some jobs need upgrades to sprint / run animations
Paladin is too stiff. Literally, only the lower part of the body is moving during sprint.
Drg too.
Stance change option for ninja would be appreciated too. I really would like to play the job, but Naruto run during any movement is ridiculous

Not just jobs, the 1.0 races, like Hyur, female Miqo'te, Elezen, etc, have REALLY stiff running(Looking at you male Hyur) animations when compared to ARR/post ARR race/genders like male Miqo'te, Au Ra, etc.

It looks pretty good on Roegadyn imo :)

They have a run animation? I thought their animation just made them jump over and over again automatically.
