What this didn’t mention is that we will actually be live streaming the whole thing and giving Community Team digests covering the information and exciting things taking place at the event!

Last Vanafest they had a portion devoted to XIV. I wonder if they will again this year.

Odds are no since E3 will cover XIV in June. Vanafest is suppose to be about the future of XI so involving XIV in any way would just take away from the focus on 11.

See no reason to have FFXIV stuff at Vanafest personally seems like a wasted effort, show it all at E3 and the Live Producer letters.

Well they should have a bit of stuff for FFXIV I think

Delsus, go visit the FFXI forums, and read one of the rep posts. "Reply with quote" to it and copy the text and post it here. For some reason it assigns not the reps avatar and character info on this forum.

I'm not trolling, just maybe i found a glitch in the system. I think it's highly unlikely that these are truly the reps characters. I posed a question, not a factual answer.

As far as Vanafest being XI only. I do recall them saying Vanafest would be an event for both XI and XIV back in 2010. Will they continue this I dunno.

Having a 2 day event devoted solely to XI seems kinda wasted effort if they don't PR some of their other online FF games.

Hmm you could be right, I can't check the reply with quote copy and paste because my FFXI account has been canceled, but you should post links to the posts in this case because it really does look like its trolling, for people that don't check the FFXI forums, I'll delete those posts now.

Also the huge PR for FFXIV will be at E3, Vanafest 2010 was before FFXIV's epic failure, this year I doubt we will see anything because it will all be at E3, perhaps we will see it at Vanafest 2013, just this year they will just be repeating what has already been said at E3.

We could get a forum competition to win a Scarf of Wonderous Wit though.

What i think is happening is the quote points to a specific post #

similar to this: Camate=305476

so it will link to post number 305476 in the XIV forums, not the XI forums. So who ever has that post numbers avatar will show up.

Like I said it was just weird, and highly unlikely that these were truly our Reps characters. Just found it strange that taking a quote from Bayohne Camate and Rukkirii on the XI forums produced not their avatars on this forums. I thought it would link to their account.
