Things I have in mind currently:
- Edencall/Edenchoir Eyepatch of Striking and Eyepatch of Scouting – hide the eyepatch
Despite the name, these gear pieces mostly share a model with the Edencall Wings of Healing, which does not have an eyepatch. I would like to be able to use these melee versions of the "wings" without the eyepatch.
- Angelic Circlet – hide the halo
The Angelic Circlet is a nice simple headpiece and it would be nice to use it without the cartoony halo.
- All goggles – toggle between wearing over eyes and up on forehead
This is an option for a few goggles, and I would like to see it extended to other models that can be used by all classes, like the common shared model for gathering sets.
Sable Death mask should swap sides when /visor-ed
I'd love to use this hairstyle (rainmaker) with it.. but it makes it pointless.

Shisui Mengu of XXX
Male design (headband plus faceguard) should remove the faceguard bits and just leave the simple headband.
Female version (flower hairpin) currently has some models with one flower and some with two flowers. Visor could add/remove the second flower so you can choose between them on every set.
(I would also love to see the head and handgear pieces added to the Faire set that reuses the Shisui model, or make it craftable. An all-class dyeable version of the flower hairpin would be great.)
The Varsity Hat should've hide the bread hat on /visor instead of hiding the glasses... i like that round glasses :(
All top gear that have a hood. I shouldn't have to look for headgear that functions as a hood to essentially make up for the one we aren't allowed to use for some reason.
Body gear doesn't interact with the visor command, only headgear does.
I'd like to have a similar command for body pieces, but that's a whole separate subject and one that needs a redesign of their system to some degree.
This thread is intended to be about things they could do right now in the current system where the visor button is able to switch parts of the headpiece model on and off or alter their position, but does not control other gear.
Thavnairian headdress – remove fabric frills
It would be nice to be able to use the circlet on its own without the frills of fabric around the sides of the head.
using visor on eyepatches, halfmasks, and monocles should switch the side of the face theyre on
yes im still waiting on that update from 2014
Thought I doubt that it would happen, but the effect would look nice on the Garlean helmet that is on my signature. This is how would it look like since Zenos is wearing a Garlean helmet himself.

- Bunny Crown and Bunny Chief Crown
Turn off the tiara with visor.
On a somewhat opposite note, it would be nice if Viera could equip these to wear the tiara, without the fake bunny ears. OR even better, make the tiara-without-ears a separate (and dyeable!) piece that can be purchased from the Gold Saucer.
Edenchoir Helm of Fending has an actual visor. It just doesnt work when you press the button. Which I always found a real shame.
I know it is something they will not do, but I would love it if they added a second version of the Healer Robe & Cleric Robe which was two slots where you could use /visor to change the hood position.
All goggles and glasses.
Really, I'd like to see /visor functionality extended to other gear slots. Imagine if you could /hood to pull up the hoods on all the robes and cowls and such (I know that would likely be way more complicated to add, but I can dream.)
Hrothgar. Despite being made for shb no shb helm hrothgar can wear account for snouts so the hroth head is very noticably replaced with a much smaller head. Only the Endwalker AF gear accounts for snouts and is visorable due to this.
Why didnt they account for a race they just made in the newest expansion said race dropped in? God but if I could begin to understand the thought process.
However there is gear that should fit hrothgar bc no visor that doesnt or no helm part but doesnt. The inconsistency in design keeps on giving.
The reaper 90 artifact hat needs a /visor option to hide the face mask. Let me just wear the hat!

Skallic Goggles of Fending... surprisingly won't work, even though it has that name you CAN'T use it as goggles

Neo Ishgardian Hat of Casting got goggles built in that could use a /visor as well
This may also be beyond implementation at this rate, but I wish Alphy's original outfit at the mogstation had his hoodie as well - we get to see it like once in the whole game:

Just like Krile had her hood separated from the rest.
I really need to post more things in here.
It would be great if the microphone could be hidden with /visor, leaving just the cool sunglasses.
- Model A-1 Tactical Goggles
- Model A-2 Tactical Goggles
Lemme hide the clown hat that won't work on my Viera anyways and lemme display just the nose. Pls. It's been years ;_;
All the flower hairpins/corsages: make them swap to the other side with /visor. Why my man only knows how to put the flower on his left bangs save for princess peach corsage (which should have /visor too)? lol
Also preferably to have any asymmetrical pieces like Earrings, Bracelets, Noctis' Gloves, Obsolete Android Halfgloves of Casting/Healing, All Republican Torques, Eikon Leather Armguards of Casting, Wayfarer's Fingerless Gloves... the likes of those, to get their own /visor command so we can pick which side we want to cover/expose, too. Then again, I imagine they have to create a new emote do that.
This! A million times this! I want to be able to switch my eyepatch from right eye to left eye or vise versa to keep my character having the same patched! Especially those with the hats. I want to be consistent with the eyepatched eye.
Bonus request to make the simple level 5 eyepatch wearable by all roles so I can use it for Magic & non fighting roles and keep the injured eye patched no matter what role I roll.
Regarding the various requests for reversed eyepatches and such, I assume those might be moving to the new "glasses" slot we've been promised is coming in 7.0. It would be good if they can take that opportunity to make left and right all-class versions of some existing models.
For a long time I've thought it kind of odd that we can't use /visor to hide the circlet part of the Succubus Horns
