Can we get more outfits from previous FF titles?

A better way to expand veteran rewards or perhaps achievement rewards, or just obtainable sets in game, whatever the reason- It would be neat if we had more outfits from previous square soft/enix titles.

Outfits and hairstyles from pre-existing characters that would be nice to have in game: Garnet/Dagger, Ashelia, Zell Dincht, Seifer Almasy, Freya Crescent, Quistis Trepe, Sorceress Edea, Laguna, Lulu, Seymour, Rikku, X-2 dressphere outfits, Liltie + Yuke inspired outfits from Crystal Chronicles, Tifa, Aerith, Barrett, Aya Brea- maybe a Vagrant Story crossover event or something.

Also more outfits/hairstyles not mentioned! One specifically I'd love is Echidna's hair and Kaldea's hair from The Bouncer.

I still want General Beatrix's outfit.

I want Tifa's outfits from AC and Remake so badly (T_T) (I'd also kill for her beautiful kimono in the Remake) and Rinoa's outfit. Oh, and also Yuna's songstress and Gun Mage outfits.

The main ones that come to mind that I want are Seifer's outfit from 8 and Garland from Dissidia.

They are already adding some continuously.
We even got 3 FF12 sets in 5.55...
IMO, brand new FFXIV sets should be the priority.

Would love for some more armor models from FFXI to make their way here. We got a couple way back in 2.0 but that was it :(

Not gonna lie, FF12 is the last FF I wanted outfits from. Other than Ashe's outfit, which we ironically didn't get, all the other outfits are very meh.

I'm with you in that regard, too. I wouldn't mind more crossover sets since you can still use individual pieces regardless of the whole, but I certainly wouldn't say no to original ones, either... though between the billion Eastern themed, mascot animal and/or Sims outfits, their track record so far has been questionable, at least imo..

Don't get me wrong. I also want more crossover of course. Just saying that drip-feeding them is fine. Especially considering how long we have to wait for the XIV NPCs outfit to be made available too.
Regarding the latest sets being class-locked, yeah it's not great. But that honestly applies to most/all class specific sets.
I am also not a big fan of something like Fran's outfit being gender+race locked.

Please gib Fang outfit and hairstyle.

I've been playing the switch remaster for Chronicles recently, and I'd really love getting some of those outfits, not just liltie and yuke, though they are probably the furthest from similar outfits already in the game.

Lulu is one i really want, but i want it to not be genderlocked..
Also hope yunad outfit gets genderlocked removed.

I personally find it more fun to try and recreate character outfits using the parts we have. So instead of looking totally out of place like the crossover outfits do, it looks like an "Eorzean Version" of them.

Whatever outfit we get, I hope we get the proper outfit and not half arsed versions like the laws order casting/healing sets were. Drace had shells not floating squares on her shoulders and a cape not a flipping dress round her legs

Not any real good compilation images for BD2 though, yet, so no example for those, sadly. They're very easy to look up though.


Though if I had to pick just one I'd love to see the Bravebearer outfit be introduced, preferrably in the form of an adaptation of it where it's just you're char's racial gear with a fancy cloak and other things over it. Similar to how the Job outfit in Bravely Default 2 is the character's default outfit with the cloak and such over it.

Missed opportunity for a dissidia crossover in the feast to increase awareness imo. You can get either Light or Chaos side gear though I'm sure there might be exceptions i.e. Cloud of Darkness might be a no-go for obvious reasons. Some examples of Chaos side:

Garland = WAR/DRK
Emperor = WHM/SCH
Golbez = DRG/RPR
Exdeath = RDM
Kefka = BLM
Sephiroth = SAM
Ultimecia = AST/SGE
Kuja = DNC/BRD/MCH
Jecht = MNK
Vayne = PLD/GNB
Galenth = SMN

Maybe when/if FF7R comes to PC they might do a crossover with that...? But given that we already have a Cloud outfit and his classic look is kinda plain (imo)... now that they've made Sephiroth into some kind of god unbound by time and space, I think there's something that could be done with that. But would they really feature the villain over one of the protagonists? Probably not, not unless it involved both...

I'd like to see more antagonist outfits added to the game. Even if they're just loosely inspired rather than a straight up copy. Bozja, for example, has the armour sets that look very similar to the Judge Magister armour from FFXII but they're not an exact match.

I 2nd that idea for Magus' outfit for the Reaper Job.

Would love it even more if we can get the Class Zero Outfits too, we already got a good chunk of the characters' hairstyles.
We are actually very close to recreating a certain reaper wielding character from Type-0, we just need her outfit now.

As an aside, Stranger of Paradise actually has some great caster sets in it. The FF14 design team should take some cues from the game.

Yeah it would be really nice to get other final fantasy outfits, but for the antagonists as well. Kind of shitty that they haven’t given us iconic antagonist glams like Sephiroth,Kuja,Seymour,Ultimecia etc etc. SE seems to have something against all of that in general though. They’re fine with giving us 2b leggings that show off ass though i guess /shrug
