No crafting leves?

im on alchemist and im level 41 im in gridania at the leve counter with NO CRAFTING LEVES!

is this normal?

*Edit: i tried getting crafting leves at 40 in uldah at one point and there weren't any either, ill try again later....

take a leve and abandon it and they reset. i know its not the best way to do it but it works.

did that....twice....what gives O.o

Well the alchemist guild is in Ul'dah..maybe you want to try there. There is a level 40 leve in LL though; it's just random when it'll show up.

i went to all 3 cities, it wont give me ANY r40 leves @_@ my question is why is it empty at all? i have never seen the leve counter npc tell me there arent any r40 battlecraft leves, so why do it with crafting leves? :confused:

Those are the only 40+ alc leves in the game, i know for Uldah Blind Fool, Blue in the Eye, and Preserving the Region are there. not sure where the other 2 are

They haven't done necessary revamps to the local leves unfortunately. All they've done is phase out the dated recipes with new ones. High level leves are typically pretty scarce as they are, so the only thing you can really do is complete any leve and re-check the counter and hope something level appropriate appears.

It's probably not the solution you want, but I've just been focusing on town-based leves over all my crafts that are at level or 5 levels over just to raise my crafting levels across the board. I complete them all then go back and re-check the counter and hope something appears for my higher level crafts.

The leve counter only resets if you complete or fail a leve, or if it passes "allowance time" (make sure to check the counter, exit, and check again to "refresh" in that last case). Picking up a leve and abandoning it doesn't do anything. Ul'dah is the best source of Alchemy leves, as it has a few that can be 40+. Actually, according to the post above, it has 4 leves that are 40+, Gridania has 0 and limsa has 1

Sticky Situation is LL and chalking it up is in grid

Is there a level 50 version of A Blind Fool? I hate having to leave the city, and now I'm too high a level to really benefit from doing the 45 version.

At level 45 Each city has an Elixir quest (Which you may need to phase up to by the doing the quests before it) but Uldah and Limsa both have level 40+ ones and I believe the limsa one gives you ogre horns, which is nice^^
