So I was thinking as playing around that the part i really enjoy from ff games is missing.
So I have a suggestion for this to be in the game as a minigame in the open world.
The game would be target/marks to steal from, the mini game im suggestion would have no fighting, if you enter or get seen you automatically lose. The game would require taking out lights, stealthing around boxs,crates in order to steal items,gear.
I believe this would not only be extremely fun but also give (theif fans) something they can enjoy. This could also help the open world by small group of two of three people for bigger targets and higher risk.

except you as a warrior of light is seen as a "good" person. rogue like elements like stealing and thieving are not really things in this game at all. yes there is a "rogue's guild" and job but they are not thieves in that sense. i don't see this as something the devs would implement.

Even dnd players know theifs are some of the best heros and can br more good than warriors
Ps a warrior of light that has a problem stealing wouldnt take identity cards like we do -

then it would be part of the story and we have done that. so it does exist in the game, but only when the narrative allows for it. plus ninja has the "mug" ability too, to have a chance to get more drops from mob kills in the open world. that's about the extent of it.

I think this is a great idea, and if you need a “RP reason” to be a thief.. well in some of the MSQ’s you “play” as the other hero’s using their skill and playing as them. This can be the same thing, you go to the “cell’s” and talk to a thief and he/she tells you his/her story, and you “Play” as them, and the “Story” is over when you get “caught”.
There, now the “hero of light” is not a thief. Simple. -
