Toto-Rak problem

Hallo.

I've been doing Toto-rak speedrun duo for a while now with a friend. Since the 1.22 update, there's been some weird problems getting 5 chests pop up... Yesterday we did 3 runs. First one took about 12½ minutes, 5 chests. Second one 10½ minutes, 4 chests for some reason... 3rd run, 11½ minutes and 4 chests again. I made sure that I picked all 6 chests on the way to Shaula.

So the question is, is there a bug with speedrun timer or something else? What exactly are the reason for 5 chests to pop up? Speed is one, 6 chests is one, I believe beating Shaula is one as well but what are the other 2?

This isn't the only time we've had this problem. One time we even got only 3 chests, again no idea why since I'm the one picking all 6 chests and I sometimes even count them on partychat. What are we doing wrong?

Its actually the three groups of chigoes the conditions are

Speed Run
Final Boss
Chests
Three groups of chigoes (this was tested by not killing anything but the chigoes)
All barriers deactivated

i always wondered what the real condition was. because all the infos i can fight was either kill some mobs or open all 3 gates.

Ooh, that's a new one... I guess that solves the reason why we're getting 4 chests most of the time. Thanks for the info.

Also did not know about the chigoes, I like killing things tho so rarely missed 5th chest, but from time to time it did happen, and on runs that were always faster than my "I wanna kill em all" runs, it's nice to know why.

yea doing runs that way it seems to be the chigoes, often ill skip the first set of them and only get 4 but when we kill all 3 sets we get 5

It's just a number of enemies slain. I've been killing mobs that are near chests/cells and that's usually enough to get all 5

all the chigoes are near cells......

Define near. Chigoes are only in the last section of the dungeon, and even there, the fore-last to last cells are surrounded by mites and plants.

One guide I found simply says kill all the puddings. Since killing enough of anything seems to work, it must be just a number of monsters you have to kill.

I've tested this in a duo and we killed all 3 sets of chigoes and 3 times we missed on the first chest. And yes, we did kill all the chigoes
