First Boss - Defender X
Action 1 - Blast Punch - Begins charging an attack that takes a bit to cast. dps have to move to a switch to left. press it poor oil over him blinding him. it fire and miss the target its targeting. if player didn't hit a switch your hp drop to 1 with really nasty heavy
Action 2 - Quake - he stomp the ground dealing damage this ability deals more damage if target is effected by heavy watch would result in death
Action 3 when its hp is reduced to 25% it will cause "Mighty Gaurd" on itself. reducing all damage by 90% to remove this ability players need hit the swift on the right to remove this effect
Boss 2 Biran and Yanke - these use a lot of blue magic spells. that blue mage can learn off them if you not learn
Action 1 - when one of them dies other gets empowered
Action 2 - biran and yanke will target random party member and began to shoulder tackle them and stuns on impact. then instantly cast a random blue mage spell on the target and deal 75% less damage
Final Boss - Sanctuary Keeper
Action 1 - "Photon Wings" he will rain small ranged easy to dodge this seem like endless barrage of small lasers that would require movement - getting hit by these isn't good idea cause its equalivant to "bad breathe"
Action 2 - Galaxy Torrent - he charge large laser a player must take position in middle surround themselves do live action you have press button mufti-times while whole team takes continue damage healer has to heal everyone in party massive heal check
Action 3 - Barrage requires you stack up with your allies share damage. then move away from each other right away and cause will fire a photon at each team member this is aoe.

Could you toss in some concept art and visual descriptions of the bosses and trash? (Heck, I think some here would love to see trash actually get an interesting mechanic or two, if you wanted to include that, too.)
You'll probably also want to clarify the exact geometries of, say, Photon Wings? Are they random small AoEs that strike quickly? Sectors?
Make sure these moves are influencing player behavior or else they're not actually a mechanic, but instead merely (likely oGCD-healable) damage, or at best/worst, unmitigatable random CC.
Take Biran and Yanke's stun for instance. What the point? How does it interestingly constrain player behavior? I could see a four-move combo by which you'd want to continuously swap out who's being hit, perhaps ending with your tank, since that becomes at least a movement mechanic... if the players are prevented from just stacking in advance.
I'll bookmark and return in a couple days, but it's hard to judge with just what's here.
I'd start, again, with considering the actual player tasks/behaviors you want to see or (if you want to go above and beyond the norm for XIV dungeons), the decision paths you want to make available. Flesh those out and people will have more to go by. -

Yes, please. Toss in concept art and everything. That is the only way to ensure that your vision will never, ever come to pass in this game.
Players don't get that if SE ever uses anything you all come up with in-game, specifically the way you describe it, they open the company to legal charges. Which is something they cannot do. Ever.
There will never be a dungeon with this name, nor bosses with those names, nor bosses with actions listed in this game. It's one of the major reasons that song writers don't listen to/or watch fan submissions. It's one of the major reasons that authors don't seek out fan fiction based on their works.
Your concept could be cool, and interesting. Just don't ever expect a developer to actually read the post, lest it put the company in legal jeopardy at some time in the future. -

This isn’t your own artwork and therefore SE cannot utilize any concepts derived from these pictures specifically. They open themselves to litigation from the actual creators of these works of art if they create something too similar (and what *is* too similar is up for debate), and if they directly credit you for the dungeon then the implication would be that they utilized the “concepts” you linked here from other artists
Edit: the only concepts they COULD use are the pictures linked from their own products. That’s it. -

The only art that OP showed that isn't SE's own property are the concept art for the background but SE already has concept art for Mt Gagazet from base to summit. All other work OP linked was taken directly from FFX concept art or FFX in-game screenshots/renders.
I'm frankly kind of surprised at the number of people saying that Square can't utilize anything the OP posted because "legal reasons". I know knowledge of the Final Fantasy franchise isn't needed to play FFXIV but nobody commenting seems to have even googled anything (or read my previous comments) regarding this topic. There's no argument nor reason why this can't be added into the game aside from "will it make sense in XIV's story?" in the same vein as how we got Rabanastre, Kefka, Exdeath, Cloud of Darkness (twice) and Chaos. -

Honestly when I think the Mt I think that really cool Aeon shrine, and for some reason like Far Cry 4 Tibetan high in the mountains - I'd honestly encourage that new take of high mountain whites but also rich colors, allows for a reimagination of the Mt. Gagazet vibe.
Seems like OP leads into space in the last boss, so maybe a cool moment would be reaching the peak with the back drop being so distant and broad yet as you go through the boss fight the FOV like aspect of the sky grows until it expands and then collapses down onto the ground sky box (meaning you're on a mountain in space), with like shooting stars flowing by as you fight.
The second boss I honestly didn't really connect with those two Ronso (in FFX) so it's not too meaningful to me but I did think high up on a mountain with a mystical like place + space influenced boss could be interesting. The super magical area in the mountains would be neat, like I hope we see the farplanes in EW.
Sometimes the effort people put into saying no, but not to think of ways to say ... better construct the idea (or just not to give input at all), has both surprised, disappointed, and now just been like "ah yes.. there that is". Reminds me of other events like with summoner, beast tribes, and even hilariously reaper where before the job was titled reaper I was (and others) being told such dark job ideas were impossible and that reaper was an impossible idea lol.Quote:

Hmm...Dont get me wrong, I bloody LOVE the idea.
But at the same time, maybe not Mt. Gagazet specifically.
Unless Spira suddenly becomes apart of the world we can visit; and the Hrothgar get a Big CC update/Extension, then we wont exactly get Ronso and it won't look/feel authentic...unless they wanna just give us unique models we can Never use ourselves for our Hrothgar. Even Dalmasca had its actual residents Viera and such, Mt Gagazet would be full of Face Option 4 Hrothgar, or unique models we wont be able to use which...would be annoying.
So, Im in favor of the overall concept, but perhaps it could be a new area with a different name. -
