It smells of Copium in here.
Wait until 6.1 they'll see our complaints and surely do something.
You mean like we've been doing for more than 4 years right.
Yeah sure.
"There wasn't much we could do with SCH" as a official statement tells me PLENTY.
"Just wait until the 5.3 balance patch."
Free yourself from the Stockholm syndrome. Play a DPS. They actually give a damn about that role. I'm telling you. You're going to have more fun within a day.
It isnt copium. It's facts. They've established the possibility of sch having more raid utility then sge with the abilities they've mentioned. I don't care about the arguments of the classes are ruined because they don't conform to your desire when that will be ultimately a matter of opinion. What I care about is if the numbers back up whether or not they did what they said with adjusting the healers.
copium is dangerous man.
if "raid utility" is peloton, then either it becomes a must-have (which means SCH is an auto-include in any raid), or useless as content would have to be able to be cleared without it (as is already the case). They couldn't imagine reintroducing quickened aetherflow? What about Fey Wind? Or literally any other kind of buff like a parallel to chain stratagem that increases direct hit rate for all allies?
They put no thought in to SCH in any way meaningful, clearly.
We know GCD is 1.5s now. That's enough for identity to be gone.
It's going to be a nuisance in most cases. You think they'd have learned from the group Sprint in Bozja, which only served to kill half your group when popped unexpectedly, because people slightly overshot the safe spot and ran over the edge or into fire.
In the hardest content, you'd coordinate it, but otherwise an unexpected burst of speed when navigating delicate movement for a mechanic can be dangerous.
I'm not saying movement speed is the best thing every but how you can turn a buff into something negative is quite impressive. lol
I fully intend to level SMN as my first job and only queue as a SCH for the mandatory 5 dungeons to reach lvl 90 and then never touch it again.
If the Devs don't care about SCH, why should I?
This is coming from someone who mained SCH from 2.0 - 5.0. Was extremely disappointed with the 5.0 changes and rarely played SCH.
This is basically the straw that broke my back. I'm done with that job.Quote:

People don't sprint in dungeon / trial / raid content as it is despite sprint being a FREE movement speed increase.
Isn’t there a Forced March mechanic so if some SCH randomly used the speed boost, it could make you walk off the edge or into aoe?
Tower and Hele-something comes to mind.
