Does the Wol listens to the music when fighting? Example
When you are about to fight Garuda is there like a Ixali with a electric guitar hiding and playing the song while you fight ?. Like is there any lore explaining where the music comes from?

There isnt any official explantion that I'd be aware off - considering that having a soundtrack is pretty standard in videogames (with usually no explantion given in regards to "why" your character(s) might be able to hear that music) I'd be surprised if the lore-team spent a lot of thought on this subject.
...if you need an explantion for yourself: the WoL has a linkpearl - and while thats usually used for communication, whos to say that you cant stream your favorite music aswell?
Alternatively: Since Hydylean can speak to us, whats so say that she isnt constantly supplying us with music with the intention of aiding us in our battles (seeing how the music often matches the rythm of fights or can be used as a tell for mechanics).
Or, a bit lame: Have you ever noticed yourself humming in your head? I know that I do that quite often - famous earworms and all that - maybe the music is just in the very musical head of the WoL.
...or the WoL doesnt hear it at all and its just for the players entertainment in the end. -

Yeah ofc the WoL can hear all the music, in my headcanon the WoL is bringing a orchestrion jukebox to every bossfight just to have the right music to get into the mood!

Cannon wise, the markers on the ground are the result of the echo, we see just a little into the future while under stress.
What if the music is the effect of the aether of the boss? It's power washes out of it and we HEAR it as music. The tempered live forever with the beat of the song in their heads. We stop hearing it when we finish. -

I feel like some of them at least could be singing to us, like Garuda or Titania. Others like Leviathan, Titan, and Ramuh sound like at least part of their songs are sung by their beastmen supporters. Part of the Ramuh song is even in the Slyph language, and the King Moogle Mog fight has each individual moogle stop singing their part of the song when you knock them out. Most of the others are songs seemingly from the primal's point of view about how badass they are or their life story. I'd like to imagine we're hearing that through the echo.
The real answer in most of the cases is probably that Soken just wanted every primal fight to be more interesting than Primal Judgement, it's something cool to listen to in each of the fights, he seems to have fun with it, and he and Koji have even done some of the singing. -

Theres a fun headcanon/ theory that the music you hear when fighting primals is how the echo interprets tempering influence. Theres only one very loose bit of evidence for it though which is in the lyrics to e8's theme "Her song in my ears" when the song is talking about someone giving into primal influence to win.

The WoL is tempered by the primal Soken. If we all gather enough orchestrion rolls to feed him, we can summon him to smite our enemies with bumpin' bops and wicked jams.

I don't think they've ever nailed it down. But!
If you have never gone inside Cerberus in World of Darkness, try it sometime. It kind of lends credence to the idea that the music is out there playing somewhere because it's muted when you go inside. It's one of those little bits of attention to detail that I love. -
