Here's the things that need to be improved for this to be a better event:
- there should be company seal rewards in addition to anima for supply phase, I've spent hours mining and crafting stuff just to realize it doesnt really do me much good, it sucks that people who did not supply anything can gain rewards for wining the battle phase but people who put in work supplying only get anima
- level of the invading mobs should be lowered a bit to make it more pick up party friendly, it's too difficult for now
- drop rate is crap, out of 5 wins we got 0 gear drops
I agree on gaining seals, especially when you are at 100 anima and turn in 5 stacks of mats and get like 200 anima.
Also I think the bonus to gaining items, shouldn't be on being in the top 20 but a multiplyer on the amount of points you get during supply phase.
Quick way to fix Hamlet would be to add company seals as a reward.
10 seals per item, 100 for HQ for the supply phase. 250 for battle win.
In addition, allow us to buy items from other companies for twice the price.
I don't like the idea of making the enemies easier. The enemies are manageable with a thrown together party as long as you have taken the extra step to find a fieldcraft or tradecraft to aid you. Also, I think the anima rewards are wayyy too high.
The only change i want to see
increased supply rating for turned in items with materia attached
turning in something for "31" points is just dumb. you should be getting more like 1000+ like you get with the other turnins
Better control over DOL potion formulas. Allow us the chance to set up for combo's and bonuses. Not simply first three you hand in make the combo.
I have done a few hamlet battles and have 1 win. I have no idea what its about or its purpose... It feels like exp grind party with no exp. Guess I don't get it yet.
The difficulty is perfectly fine. The reward for our effort, especially in Provisioning Phase, is crap.
First of all even when we secure top 20 pos. in ranks, there is nothing we gain if we do not participate in battle and even then there is not much of an adventage since the 2nd chance at drop still sucks.
That brings me to the awful drop rate, the effort is just not worth it and waiting 15min in between, rly SE?
It would be fine if we would get anything of value. maybe a similar concept like totem items which you change for a weapon, but make it a relative high drop rate and 1 item of choice for lets say 50 keyitems or something like that.
Something to work forward.
to summerize:
1. make the provisioning phase and top 20 more rewarding
2. make taking part in battle more appealing and less time consuming in waiting in between
oh and reaching level 2 is not possible at the moment on ragnarok, so do something about it
I would change Top 20 into 100k and 200k investors where everyone who invested 100k has a chance at secondary loot while 200k has a better chance at obtaining rewards.
I'd add a more useful method for DoW/M to assist in hamlet as well as add a loot pool for them. Give the fighters a training exercise in which you use a leve charge to take part in a leve which locks you in your class and improves their abilities based on which class you complete it on. So GLA could improve DEF, CON could improve MAG DEF, ARC could be Range ACC, MRD Range Attack, THM MAG ATT, PUG and Lancer
But basically just like how the militia weapons and gathered items improve the resources, Each Class could provide a unique statistical boost to the NPCs so that they are more effect in combat and could add onto the "resource" amount. So maybe something like each ran increased in the above would grant 100k resource boost for that round. The difference however would be the points you get towards these training exercises would be in a different category then the resource top 20*. The melee's that are on this list would have their own unique secondary treasure list which would grant them items that are more focused on their class or even the gathered materials that go for 50-100k based on the rank of the hamlet.
Here's how the seal drop should work:
10k+ - 5%
20k+ - 10%
30k+ -25%
40k+ - 50%
50k+ -100%
Current drop rate is ridiculously rage worthy since you need 3 seals and 8 people in the party that want them.
Plz fix this~
The Primal seal drop rate is abysmal right now but your proposed drop rates are way too high across the board.
I would like to add that they should make Militia gear we obtain in attack phase tradeable for seals if they dont wanna give us seal reward straight up.
I agree that there should not be a top 20 list for this sort of thing, because I would rather not have all of my effort amount to nothing because someone else simply has more free time. However, the drop rate you're proposing is far too high. The Relic Weapons are supposed to be rare and impressive, not something everyone has. They need to be difficult and have ridiculous requirements, but my success rate should not be affected by anyone except myself and my party.
Please make Militia hats consumable.
Why do you guys want everything so easy. Those seals are for relic weapons, not intended to be quick or easy. And donations? Whole LS work together to get people in the top 3/top 20, its called teamwork and there is nothing wrong with competition.
Also, Hamlet is very well put together and balanced, I think the devs did an extraordinary job with this event!
Need to actually be able to get to lvl 2, or alternative ways to get seal drops, now that so many people have their seals and don't contribute.
