I think "leve" is officially confirmed to be pronounced like "leave".

Mete would just be /miːt/
So "leavemit"
I say Leave when it's just Leve..
But when I say the whole word I say it.
Lev(like lever without the er) e mate
"those quest thingies" = pronunciation problems solved :):)
I pronounce it as "Wait until its offically said in the voice acting/the devs and then decide I have been saying it wrong all these years, but continue doing so because of habit."
Its also how I figure out how to pronounce the new Pokemon names.
I've always pronounced as leave-meet since I've been familiar with the word mete since my younger years and it has the /mēt/ pronunciation. So someone who will mete out leves, they give you permission to cull these monsters or take on this request with a reward at the end.
Levuh might. If I say it wrong I might as well purposefully say it wrong entirely.
For me, it's always been "lev met"
I'm pretty sure it's wrong, but for some reason that's how I've always read it.
"Leave-meat"
I suppose the most common other place I see the combination of "m-e-t-e" is in the word "meter", so I went with that pronunciation.
I must confess that I have been calling them vegemites lol
leave meet.
"Leve" basically means "leave," which can have multiple meanings but refers to permission to go out and do something, to entrust something with you, etc. A mission is being left to you.
"Mete" means "to distribute or apportion by measure; allot; dole."
Therefore, a levemete is someone who gives you leave to take responsibility for a mission.
Le-ve me-te and no i used at all when pronounced, instead I use e
I say it like : levie like Levee and then met-te like mate but with met instead of mat.. lol i hope i make some sense..i have a hard time pronouncing many people, places and things in this game tbh
Repeatable mission.
You just forget they exist, like most players.
“Leaf - Mate” is what I always call them.
I don’t know if I’m wrong but I’m not gonna change the way I call it.
Leh-ve-mate.
It may or may not be wrong but that's how I've always pronounced it.
Leave - meet.
I've always pronounced it as levy-meet. I see just don't see 'leave' looking at 'leve'. Mete I can at least get meet a bit easier. A few friends did pronounce it mate but I know the first time we heard someone call leves "leaves" we were all confused. None of us call it 'leaves' still, even if it's the correct pronunciation.
Leaf Meat. Suitable for vegans and non-vegans.
Leave Meat
Leave-meet because there is a Challenge log entry called Just Leve It to Me
Lev - meet, or possibly levy - meet.
Leve seemingly rooted in 'levy' which in one form means to recruit or enlist.
Mete being literally mete as in to measure out, distribute and even to dispense justice. Perhaps in the form of contracts, notices, warrants or bounties.
The Levemete is then simply someone who recruits others to deliver justice or complete a task. Much like Wanted posters in almost every cowboy film ever, or as bounty hunters in current year do with regards to people who may have not appeared in court etc.
Given the propensity of dialogue in the game to mimic/imitate to older or more archaic speech patterns of english/french in the game, changing levy to leve isnt a stretch.
I've always gone with Lev-ehh-meet. Like the word, Level without the ending L, and then Mete as in mete out a level. Cause they're for leveling. \o\
Been wondering though, what are they called in Japanese?
Funny question, I'd say it's pronounced as the following:
.- Liivmit
.- Leeve-meet
.- Leave-meat
Wasn't it "Levemate"?. I always thought it was "Levemate"!.
