Literally who is Asmongold

Who cares about Asmongold?

Does he even have more than 50 viewers on his channel lol? Square Enix will ignore him on Twitter and let this dumb phenomenon pass. Literally no one is talking about this on Twitter, Reddit, the forums, and Discord, so who cares?

And when he plays the game there won't even be anyone who will recognize him in-game. He's just going to be bored of the game and stop playing when he realizes no one will be there to clog up Limsa Lominsa for him.

So remind me again, who the hell is he lol?

Literally just use google instead of trying to drum up more drama.

They know whom the streamer is , and drumming up drama with bait posts is what their multiple accounts are here for , unfortunately. Add them to your ignore list and move on. Its all you can really do.

Let's not consider that, hey maybe the person's got an entertaining personality? Or that they're informative and can show people tricks and shit in the games they're playing. Or, let's discredit using a stream of a game to see if the gameplay's not terrible if youre considering buying it but not entirely sure it's worth it.

No the only reason to stream video games / watch video game streams is to just waste time.

I hope you are not talking about me, i'm just someone that thinks that we do have toxicity in our community and people need to face it to fix it. People have to stop this "perfect community" thing that is just making us blind. All games have problems, including ffxiv

Let me remind you all that Asmongold is now a FFXIV player and thus protected by the ToS. Specifically from people harrasing him saying he is an asshole or diffamating him saying he only has 50 viewers.

I've gone through this thread and reported all posts that infringe the ToS. Hopefully the GMs will uproot the toxic people in this community.

I searched out Asmongold on youtube to see what all of the fuss was about, his latest video is "Asmongold Reacts to FFXIV MEMES!" I watched about 4 minutes into it, I can't say I didn't cringe, I kinda already had a guess mischief was afoot in the game by the way some dress, advertise their guilds and often herd together in market hubs....but I had no idea just how cringe things got. I can honestly say, I wish I never knew now.

I'm guessing he's getting heat for talking about stuff people didn't want made public?? I'm not going to look any further into his submissions, I'm happy with the game running quests and stuff outside of roeplay.

He's a long term wow player, and will go back to wow because that is his fan base. FFxiv is just a distraction and content for his channel, he played eso as well, though with much less fanfare.
