...It honestly sounds pretty par for the course stylistically.

And aside from a few duds here and there, par for the course has been well in the "awesome" category.

Listen to some of the FFXI battle and 'intense music (that nobuo didn't do), you can tell Mizuta/Tanioka (don't think she's on board for XIV though) have a lot of fun with it, so I'm sure Mizuta had a hand in this song at some point too.

For me, it's one of the best battle theme of all time, and it suit perfectly for Garuda.

Sounds like Final Fantasy meets No More Heroes

As much as I love Uematsu, I want to see more Mizuta in this game. Mizuta knows how to compose for MMOs better.
