Let me start off by saying, I absolutely love this game but I've been searching for a house for 2 months and have yet to get a plot. This is super frustrating since I've not been working and devoting all of my free time to this endeavor. 2 months of sitting and clicking for 12+ hours and never ever getting a plot.
Games are for fun....this system is anything but....
First of all, there are way to many bots getting everything. When you have 20+ people at each plot on Leviathian and only 2-3 real people there's a problem.
Secondly, do you know how frustrating it is to spend 10+ hours clicking only to have someone relocate on that plot right before the timer should be popping???? This is absolutely ridiculous. 9/10 times this is what happens and it pisses everyone off that has been clicking for hours and hours. Offer relocations before they open up for others or something.
I get why the random timer was put into effect but there are a million other ways this could be done that would not be as frustrating for people. 10-24 hours is excessive to make people sit there and click. Its not healthy physically nor mentally and could be done in a different way from putting yourself on a waiting list, to some kind of lottery. Something more fair and attainable! Nobody wants to spend months of their life trying to get a house every day all day to never get one and just always be aggravated.
Please Square, revamp this system, get rid of the bots and fix this!

Instanced housing to meet demand would kill a lot of the bots and house selling off since everyone could actually get a freakin house

You can fix bot issue and playerbot issues with doing something about how many times you can press a placecard button per place card of course to buy a house, and flush out exploiting players who use auto clickers, to flush out bots designed to obtain houses, for resale in FC type and with the gil ending in the RMT bank, for then selling those to players.
Also any autoclicking third party device is an absolute uneven and unfair advantage to those people who play this game on PS4/5 -

They definitely need to do a rework because if you're on console you're SoL, no 3rd party programs here. Why not have an 8 hour window? Or a timer that says "window will open in 16 hours" and said window is like 4 hours long. So I'm not wasting 16 hours clicking every second to buy an un-buy-able plot. You have the mechanics in the game! This is worse than FFXI NM hunting. Or just add 30 more wards to every zone and make it fair. Being punished because you could not buy property on release day... come on now. How about you let me put my gather/crafter to real use and let me build a plot with gather and build my house with my crafter.

Took me two days to get my FC house. But my server is not as busy as yours it seems. Today there were 4 smalls in flower beds, 2 in goblet and another 1 in mist. The placard clicking was miserable as ever but when I woke at 5am all the people had passed out so I got my house easily enough. Now to decorate it and build our air ships etc.
I have seen the site someone else posted selling houses, it was honestly really depressing to see. Wish SE would pull a Mihoyo and take legal action against people damaging their game. -

Plot is relinquished [placard does state for Relocation or Sale during their respective phases] > Invisible 10-hour-timer starts for Relocation (that's 42% of a real day to decide). Once Relocation timer is up no more Relocation and the plot goes up for sale > next 0-4 hours that plot can not be bought (that is minimum of 58% of a real day to login and see there could potentially be a plot up, given the relocation goes unphased) > 4-12 hours the invisible timer starts (like the current one) > invisible timer goes off or after 12 hours > the plot goes up for insta-purchase. The minimum amount of turn around time would be 14 hours from relinquish to purchase with max being 26 hours. Relocation still gets priority but timers favor a buyer. Lastly, the knowledge of a rough buy window with only an 8 hour spam window is priceless. What do you think?
