I will assume they will subtract the maintenance time from the contest total time, therefore I am not concerned.

whatever they do about the contest, its not gonna be fair. Any option that they could use to remedy it would just not be fair. There are already people who have gotten a chance to do quest and get through first Garuda fight, so if they reset the timer, people will have an advantage.....If they dont reset timer, people who voted for -5 hours will be screwed.
