"Considering that FFXVI will be the newest entry into the FF franchise, as the producer of FFXIV, I certainly plan to ask for permission to implement something like that. I just need the producer of XVI to give his OK...
As the producer of XVI, I recognize the excellent promotional potential of a collaboration with FFXIV, which so many players enjoy already. Sounds like both sides are in agreement! (lol)
Though, I think any sort of large-scale crossover will have to wait until after the release of XVI, so that everyone can get to know and love its world and characters beforehand!

If others could post their answers, that would be great, mine was sadly dismissed but that was to be expected.

Just in case people don't get it. FF16 producer is none other than yoshida...who is also producer/director of FF14. Maybe yoshida misspoke here and was trying to say the director of FF16, Takai Hiroshi. Who is also an assistant director in FF14...who made 2.2 trailer and trailers from 2.1 ~ 2.5 are warriors is because Takai Hiroshi main is a warrior.

If YoshiP said no, can just quote his XVI trailer: "what do you mean you refuse?"

Why ask for a crossover from a game that hasn't even released yet? You don't even know if the game will be good, or if there are any characters you'll like.

Hahahaha. I'm glad both games have such clear and kind communication between producers . . . . :D :D

From what I've seen there could be potentially a number of quite cool things we could gain from that game, and of course that game from ours would be neat as well. I do look forward to seeing SE's next games, the aRPG part is interesting and I hope they continue to improve their formula and as well seek to become better overall (like I read one of DMC's battle creators is working with FFXVI, and that's potentially heaven material lol).

Not that we've too much info yet, but from the trailer, and a long desire of FFXIV, it would be neat if that 'job' in the trailer becomes one for this game. Titan fists, and probably more of a thing 'not to do' (in that game), but the transformation vibe, would be super neat. To avoid stepping on SMN, for FFXIV, maybe it's more Zodiac / Esper / 'not primal primal' inspired (so rather than Titan, Shiva, other standard summons that are classic to that you might see Belias, Zalera, Chaos, etc)

It'll likely be a terrible short hairstyle and some male glamour with a short questline or boss fate

I'd like to have known if they plan to implement Hilda's Ponytail & are they listening to the feedback on the types of hairstyles people would like to see?

Oh no a short hairstyle and some male glamour. It's almost like we've been missing both this expansion. I welcome it as its very rare to see them tbh.
