Deleted chacter?

Hey all,

I was just about to do Garuda tonight, but figured I would check out the merchantile wards first. Bad idea it seems...when I went to go back to the Fronds, the game froze and it came up with the usual blah blah final fantasy 14 has stopped working.

When I went to log back in my character name still appears on the side, but my character is gone. Only a rotating circle and the magic vapour from the ground. I cannot log into the game at all.

Is this a bug issue? Is my character lost in the mist that rises from the ground? lol

Need some help here SE, not impressed I can't do Garuda tonight and can't do anything about a GM call from out here.:mad:

Same. EXACTLY the same.
Login (OK) > Gathering Ward > Synthesis > Game Freeze > Reset > Character Name appears, but no char image; just rotating circle and magic vapour.

everyones having the same problem. its under investigation according to another post by a mod in the other thread

I have this issue. I got in fine originally, then did some transferring with items from retainer to armoire in Gridania. At one point I got locked up after talking to the inn NPC after confirming to go in the inn room. Instead of being warped I was frozen and couldn't move my character or camera. I could access the menu, though, so I messed around a bit in the macro section before shutting down the client. I tried again and had this very problem. I even tried rebooting my PC, but it didn't fix anything.

yup, thats what we all have, welcome to the club :)

this happens when the survers are taken down spiratically... the surver itself is in tact the characters are taken offline until the bugs are taken care of, nothing deleted this happens pretty often after a large patch :)

give it another hal fhour/hour and it'll be resolved, or at least announced and repatched.

Don't delete anything. Your character will come back up when they fix the problem.

hmmmm okie....they better fix soon i wanna see if i won the garuda contest thingy speaking of garuda shes......hoooooooot im les so ya thats my opimion
