Wondered what look like when new login screen...
I hoped it's dark.
Reason I dont like SHB's login screen. Yellow was too bright. Cant switch back old login screen.
I loved HW's one. ARR and SB was okay.

It'll be the moon up front with the planet behind, and playing on it will be a variation of the beginning of the teaser trailer's music (the softer music) with the prelude put in somehow.

My guess is that it'll be similar to the shot of the Midlander in the cinematic standing on the Moon as he looks at the Source.
I also expect the music to be more subdued and subtle this time around.
Another option is for both Zodiark and Hydaelyn to be the focus since it's the conclusion of their story arc. -

But it's always darkest just before that dawn, so big dark moon taking up much of the frame makes sense with maybe some 'sun rays' starting to break behind it (it would also be a nice bookend to ARR and Dalamud).Quote:

Heavensward is still my favorite, nice somewhat soft piano, didn't blast the speakers and it sounded just amazing.
Stormblood.......I had to turn down my volume darn near every login because of HOW LOUD those drums were, like after that initial drum intro its not too bad but WHY did that have to be 90% of what I hear because I just want to login and get the title screen over with because of that.
Shadowbringers was an improvement in my opinion. The vocals are bass, and not ear piercing volume compared to the rest and I can keep my volume up as it doesn't....how do I put this. The drum from stormblood kind of broke any form silence, like the opposite of a white noise that blends in but shadowbringers doesn't do that, and its not as soft as heavensward, but I can tolerate it much easier then stormblood.
I wouldn't mind endwalker either being a soft but epic intro, or something that just isn't on stormbloods waking the dead levels of loud intro. -

I can empathize for the Ascians - they lost everything for so long, and for them, the people of our stars are fleeting and insignificant. Tiny, interesting in their valiance, but otherwise one of many. They want their friends back, they want their LIVES back. What I'll foresee for EW login would be a moon in the background with the acoustic guitar strums and signing that we have from the trailer. Having an acoustic sound as login music would be awesome and nice for a change. -
