As someone who loves Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, etc. I'm very excited for Island Sanctuary. However, I'm having a hard time finding any info about it. I'm wondering if there's something I missed during the Fan Fest Live Letter? I know they mentioned it briefly but I was in a voice call with my very hyped up FC mates so I couldn't really hear and I'm not sure what they said about it during the LL. All I know is that it's not just for DoL/DoH (which is cool, even if I personally love gathering and crafting in this game) and the tagline of basically "slow-living" plus the promo artwork haha. Does anyone else know more or where I can find more info?

It's supposed to be fairly casual and relaxing, though.
We didn't learn what the new attraction is going to be in the Gold Saucer, either - so my guess is we'll learn more about both features closer to the release date of Endwalker. -

FFXI had something that sounds similar called the Mog Garden and could give you an idea of what they are doing in 14.

It is part of the last expac and is just this chill little area with a small storyline and some nodes you can level up and gather from. As well as spots to garden with but not as in depth as gardening in your mog house is.
You could get some items worth a bit from the max level nodes but the main things are the main mog that is a vendor you can unlock more items on and monster rearing.

This let you take care of some monsters. Goal was to help them grow and be happy which would get you a key item (with some luck) that would unlock an item on the moogle as well as give you some kind of combat boost.
You are only able to have one of these boosts active at a time but some were strong for what they were.
Not likely to have a boost like this in 14 but still some kind of system of things to unlock perhaps? -

Not everyone lives for the competitive edge, many of us, myself included, want and need places that arent full steam ahead and "cutting edge", they dont have to be. I DID that schtick, years ago in WOW, heroic raiding etc..Im done with that now and quite frankly, I find the idea of a place with a quiet edge and set up for sheer play a refreshing idea.
Been there done that, got the t shirt, the coffee mug and the ulcers that went with it. :D
Even the Warrior of Light needs a place, a time, to sit back in the sunlight, take out your soul and look at it, muse at what was and could have been, or simply close your eyes and listen to the wind sing to your heart.
Not everything has to be full speed ahead, I often play Farm Together, which is sheer fun.
Take an even strain, MPK, the quiet moments are often the ones we most treasure.:cool: -
