It's obvious they care for each other and for this game. We have a great team working on this game.

That announcement made me cry. Soken's music has touched my soul in ways I can't even begin to describe. And as someone who suffers from long term health issues I know how hard it is to deal with that. He kept working even while in hospital fighting for his life. What an incredibly strong treasure he is. We are so lucky to have him. Dear God this has left me quite shaken. I'm so glad he is in remission now. So so so so so glad.

I am a radiation therapist, so I work with cancer patients daily and know all too well what this illness can do to you. Hope the illness will stay in full remission dear Soken!

Do we have an address of Square Enix / Final Fantasy XIV? Soken says he gets energy from our comments and support, so I would love it if we can show him how much we love him and support him in all he does for this game. We should bomb him with thousands and thousands of cards with our best wishes? I am sure we can do that as a community? No?

That final bit with the devs on stage together made me realize they are something precious indeed....I can't think of any other developers who go to this extent for their players. Congratulations to Soken for beating cancer and let's all support the team as they work on Endwalker!

Dev team, Yoshi P and Soken-san, what can I say? Final Fantasy XIV was with me during the ups and downs of my life. For the past 10 years FFXIV was a big part of who I am today. And who my wife and I are today (I met her in this game). It is hard for me to listen and know about your health and seeing the dev team and Yoshi P tear up, made me cry as well. As if a close friend that I personally knew is sick and needs my support. Thank you for everything FFXIV team and everyone please stay strong during this hard time. I will support this game until the servers shutdown, just like with 1.0, I'll stay until the end to show my support.

Please take care Soken-san. Stay strong and we pray for your health and speedy recovery.

Hoping to see you all someday in the next Fan Festival, especially you Sensei Soken-san!

I was so teary eyed and choked up. With both Soken and Yoshi-P. It's been a while since I even bothered to log into the forums, but I felt I had to do so this time.

Way back I made a post on how I was congratulating Soken on his Shadowbringers music, it was marvelous and such a joy to listen to, in and out of game. Little did I know when I made it, he was dealing with Cancer. I wish I could have praised him even more back then.

Regardless. Thank you so...SO much Soken. We care for you just as much as you do us, and we are so glad you were a part of our lives. Even for this game, and outside of it.

Please, take care of yourself and know we are all here for you. And thanks for the ENTIRE Dev Team as well. The love and bond you all share is something to be treasured. Never forget these moments. I don't speak for everyone, but at least for me, know that I am with you and give my best wishes.

Man, that got heavy. Really heavy. I think this only reaffirms the belief that the dev team really cares. Not just about the game, but each other. They are basically family. I won't lie, I got kinda misty eyed. Thank you Soken for all your hard work! Very few individuals in this world have the same amount of passion for the things they love. We will be rooting for you every step of the way. And thanks to the rest of the dev team for being awesome. :)
