Lunar Bahamut Card rant

So I run Paglth'an dungeon over 30 times and never saw a Card drop.
I can't see this dungeon anymore, even if it's still "relevant" til autumn /meh.

But this kind of RNG is just BS. I have no problems with grinding things
for something do achieve. But to brain-dead run a dungeon 40,50,60 times
for a 3-Star card is simply super lame... Even for the "SE and their RNG love".

Same with wall Cards behind Ex fights. Casual or handicapped ppl never could
get em, because of the 20+ runs needed in general...

I got 307/322 Cards, but I have stop atm, cause it's just chicane at this point and
nothing more! :mad:

It's crazy because my partner and I have seen this card numerable in less than 10 runs total... Wish we could trade combat-earned cards.

I wonder, if there is a trick, a trigger, a mechanism, something... But I think not, aka if u can run the dungeon, ur able to get it, right?

This is just annoying and unhealthy at the same time...

Weird. Not only did I get this card my first run, I get it about every 5-10 runs. Hope rng is nicer to you soon with it.
I agree with you on the EX Cards though. I'm not TOO fussed on G-Warrior but Memoria Miseria.....

While I responded to this on Discord, for the benefit of anyone who might read this, I honestly think it is just RNG and you have abysmal RNG with this card. Just like games where you got 1% chance to get hit, and then you do, so can an elusive drop make itself scarce. Don't think anything can change it. It is some small chance rolled per person.

the trick is to go into it not wanting it. then it will come to you. lol

Some people got it on first or second run, I got the card after ~20 runs of the dungeon. So RNG just being RNG.
At least it's not as bad as Eden's Promise. While i finally got it, it took roughly 50 runs total.

Random is as random does. Such is MMORPG gaming. I'm hoping that they will buff instance drops eventually like they did with NPCs. I'll be honest though, after the time I spent trying to get some of those cards it almost felt wrong having them drop so easily. Almost.

We can only hope. I have literally lost track of how many times I've killed Sophia over the years and still no card...

Edit: And of course, right after I post this I kill Sophia one more time just for fun and get the drop. Complaining works!

To bring closure to the story: they finally got the card. xP

Was just rotten luck it took that long.

I have never understand why we are unable to trade Cards, it is something not many people collect and most cards are useless anyway, we just want them for collection sake

Direct player trades not being allowed I personally still agree with (since that opens the door to RMT/Carries), but I wouldn't mind something like being able to put cards into FC chests. That way if your FC has some overly dedicated players, they can give away their extra cards, and other FC mates with better RNG can help them out as well. Limiting it to just FC chest also discourages RMT since the hassle of switching FCs over-and-over just to get cards wouldn't be something most players would wanna deal with.

Oddly - and I have no idea how many times I've run Pag'lathan since it dropped but at least once a day, and some a LOT more trying to get different gear for glams... I've never seen the card drop at all, I wasn't aware there was one - I don't do triple triad and while if there is a card (like the nier ones) I'll roll on it. I also have only seen the minion drop once, and the music once out of all the runs I've done.
