Do we know how maintenance will affect the fetes in the firmament?

As it looks to be now the maintenance will make us miss two, will they be postponed or do we just not get them, I doubt anyone knows but I’ll throw it out there

Probably like gardens, open world fates, retainer ventures, and submarines/airships... the time keeps ticking.

These will be going for a long time, I feel, maybe even to 6.1 or beyond.

The fétes are pretty rewarding after doing one (got lucky and got the mount and the hippy outfit coffer) so missing one or two isn't going to be too big of a deal, honestly.

We don't know how maintenance will affect things. It could reset the entire celebration so we'll need to wait another two days for it to start again.

I'm not sure how much staying power it will have in the long run. The "good stuff" seemed far too common a reward though it's an easy enough way to make a little scrip if you don't want to have to do Diadem gathering or crafting. I don't what sort of XP was being rewarded since my classes are all max level though based on the scrip reward compared to the Restoration FATEs I'm going to guess it was 20% of a level per fete event.

I wouldn't be surprised if they function like World Boss Fates and S rank hunts: a ~24 hour cooldown after maintenance before first spawn and then a 48 hour cooldown before the next spawn.

Dunno, guess it'll go back to the 2 day cd. Not sure how long the celebration will be, going to assume till 6.0 launch, that being said the rewards are very very generous. Mb prices have already hitting rock bottom on the rewards after the 1st couple sets of Fetes, so no real need to rush. When it starts there are 12 Fete sets through out the day, each takes about 30mins and then there is 1 hr 30mins cd till next set. They give 2 reward boxes each Fete and there is 5 Fetes per set. The boxes give a Fete token or straight up the mount, outfits, and such. Even with a 2 day cd between wach celebration you'll have plenty of opportunities to get everything.

First one happened at 5am on my server. I hope they reoccur often.

Yes, seems 2 of them have past when the servers was down. Its fine, if these go on for quite some time, people will have enough time to get what they want.

The patch notes say

"Fêtes are held twelve times over the course of a twenty-four hour period, with one every two hours. When the celebration has concluded, there will be a rest period of one to two days (Earth time) before the next event period begins."

So that's 12 chances to do these before they happen again in two days. I feel like if you aren't able to do them the rewards are going to be low priced on the MB (the Stag mount was already cheaper then the Doe mount on Faerie before I went to bed).
