3 parties in a row now that I have 1-3 people who just log out and log back in right before we finish. Is this content that bad that the devs dont even test it?

It ought to just be an alliance raid that lets you use bozja actions. I don't really see the benefit of having it as a separate thing without the ability to vote kick/replenish members etc.
You sure do a lot of Bozja for someone who hates it so much.
Agreed. They need to be able to kick you.
Yeah, one of the parties in one of my DRs had a beef with one of their white mages. They removed him from party and he reeed all the way to the last boss in shout, much to the annoyance of the rest of the raid.
There needs to be a way to send an undesirable to heaven, even if it means no replenishment. Not being able to remove from duty just encourages people to ignore the will of the group, be that by bad manners or by afk.
mean while, i am in one DR that i am the only healer of the group, and there is an BRD that keep complain about how i didnt buff them before battle begin, and how he need to use his belove lost cure to keep the HP up, i just ignore dude a whole run, but dude still keep talking and talking abut how i dont play accord his playing style until other member getting annoy at him and tell him to stop himself, well no point to trade word back and forth with that dude, so i ignore him a whole run and report for harassement later once the run is finish
Thankfully I haven't seen it happen yet, but it's a valid concern if it does. If someone decides not to participate until the end of the last boss, there's nothing you can do really.
OP posts a valid concern about design flaw, still gets attacked in the comments. Square Enix Simps Squad is growing strong as ever.
Why do you keep making threads whining about everything? Just go play something else you clearly don't like this game
That's cause they test and design under the japanese mindset and Japanese people would never do something so nasty and selfish.
It's also dumb that you're also not allowed get replacements if someone leaves voluntarily or as a result of a DC.
I'd have gladly taken longer queues in exchange for them working as they normally do for 24 player instances since people are generally unwilling to use lost actions to play outside of their usual role anyways.
Not sure what that is. I got my weapon upgrade stuff by doing old world FATEs, and haven't been back to Bozja since.
Weird. I got mostly nothing every 10 floors, but I got one each time I completed floor 100. I had heard it was a guaranteed drop, and my experience with it was exactly that. I could be wrong, obviously. Maybe the drop rate at 100 is high, but not 100%. That's where I'd put my money at least.
Think the problem with Delubrum Reginae as the optimal option is that the armor is absolutely atrocious. The armor design itself is fine if someone were playing a bog standard hume or any race that lacks a tail, but much like the caped paladin armor from Stormblood they did the same thing again with the judge armor, and the high collar on the caster gear is bad for long haired characters.
I know it sounds inconsequential, but most games where armor gets designed, they do design the armor with the available hair and body types in mind. They used to do it at least somewhat in this game in the early days, but now it feels like they just threw in the towel when it comes to the feel and look of characters. It goes beyond just the Viera and Hrothgar thing, it's been a problem since probably stormblood now. Not to mention the effort needed to actually get the new judge armor dyable I think requires the savage version of Delebrum. That armor just isn't worth it: Savage tier has better armor design this push along with it being easier to get.
I dont care as long as I get my Law's Order Armor Well okay I do care but Judge Armor. I will make myself hate the game for several more months for that.
This would be because they nerfed it into the ground. Out of 12 runs with 1 run being 10 floors between 51 and 60 on Saturday and Sunday I got 8 shards! After Tuesday I did roughly 30 floors and literally nothing dropped. Not sure the drop rate above floor 100 but I assume it was nerfed also.
You are forced to do Delubrum.
The worst part about DR right now besides the trouble with people leaving and no reinforce, is the bosses have ridiculous HP making DR take so long you actually go numb during it.
It’s really OP’s framing of the title. Delubrum and Bozja are NOT bad. They’re actually pretty fun an engaging and when I’m tired of it I can shelf it and do something else.
Bozja is flawed =/= Bozja is bad. The flaws need their own categorization to be taken seriously. The buffs to Castrum actually quelled my own complaints about the content, but it’s also fair to judge other overlooked things like being able to kick undesirables.
It doesn’t make sense to call all of it bad and cry about it on the forums when it’s just one small thing that has to do more with player behavior that OP is crying about. Instead of making this thread, there should be an ongoing thread about how the player experience can be improved in Bozja.
I think it's fun. My only complaint is that I wish they had just made it into a proper Alliance Raid with all the features normal ones have. Right now it feels kinda scuffed and half-way there but not quite.
So far as I can tell, it's less a 'design decision' and more a side effect of how Delubrum seems to be implemented. Due to the fact that it doesn't enforce roles—and does use regional/zone rules a'la the Southern Front or Eureka, i.e. allowing things like Lost Actions—it does not appear to be set up like a normal duty instance.
And from some very cursory poking at how things seem to work while in Delubrum, it looks to me like this means they implemented it like the Bozjan Southern Front, or a Eureka zone, which just happens to match people into parties as it loads them in and has a much lower population cap. So even though it's a "raid", functionally, it looks like it might actually be implemented as a second Bozjan zone under the hood... which, admittedly, makes a weird sort of sense if I squint. (I also strongly suspect that if I'm right about that, it is why—just like Eureka or the Southern Front—Delubrum is not in Duty Finder.)
Obviously, you can't arbitrarily kick someone from Bozja itself (or Eureka, previously), much less say "hey we need a new person in this Eureka instance" or whatever. Which... unfortunately, seems to mean you cannot do those things in Delubrum either, because it looks like it might be a sort of mutant exploration zone (as opposed to a normal duty of some form).
I should note I actually quite enjoy Delubrum, but from what I can tell there are definitely some implementation quirks...
Yes, japanese culture is different from ours. Indeed.
But being a japanese player doesn't mean you're an angel on earth.
There are shitty persons all over the planet, japan included. If the player want to play selfish for whatever reason, he'll do, so yes, that must be a "reason", but that's still a flaw
