Deepshadow Armor vendor in 5.4?

Used to be on the vendor in Eulmore (before 5.4) for the now discontinued phantasmagoria tomestones. What vendor has them now? (Assuming there is one.) I see no note of that in the Patch Notes.

And why is the English forum COVERED in French?

They can be found in the Crystarium, purchaseable from the Nut vendor.

Also one in Eulmore just downstairs from the main alcolyte. It’s hunt gear now.

As said, it's Hunt gear now, along with the Ronkan gear. Extremities cost 70 Nuts, body/legs 120 nuts. I didn't look at weapons, but likely 120~150 nuts.

Damn, should have bought those glamours before. Now they are painful to get

retainers bring them back in quick ventures now as well, along with crystarium gear. I have gotten more deepshadow gear in the past 2 days than I know what to do with. So you could roll the dice there as well.

They are actually way eaiser to get now, just join the hunt discord and join in for Hunt trains you get alot of those Nuts.

One hunt train will get you 480 Sacks of Nuts if all 12 Rank As are up. Prices on the Deepshadow gear run from 55 (accessories) to 140 (weapons) depending on item.

That's a lot of gear for just 20 minutes of effort.

Ewww, was hoping they were bought w/ Poetics now, like other 'outdated' gear. Guess I'll just keep spending my Poetics at Rhalgr's Reach. Thanks for the info, never would have found them at the Hunt vendor.

You can also do the weekly hunt bill for 100 nut sacks. And if you plan out the rank 1-3 hunt bills properly, it could take you probably 20 - 30 min to finish daily. It's not as good as the hunt train for total amount, but it will help if you're just looking for one or two pieces and there isn't a train going at that point.

Have the hunt trains settled down so it's actually possible to get to the bosses before they're dead? Last time I tried just after 5.3 release the zones were so full I wasn't able to even teleport in, much less fly to the correct location in time. Haven't bothered since then.

The normal hunts are a great way to pass time while waiting on DF queue. They also give some exp if you have any jobs you're leveling.

At least on my server/data center, no. Even just being in the area when the train comes slows everything down. I'll just stick to daily hunts for now.

Depends on your data center and time of day that you're able to play. Afternoon and evening trains tend to be packed so things are dead in under 30 seconds. Late night and morning trains are much better for those who have older systems or slow internet connection speeds.

If late night and morning trains aren't an option for you, I'd suggest waiting at least another week then try joining another train. Also avoid Tuesdays, trains get packed on reset day. Thurs/Fri/Sun/Monday are generally your best bets.

My computer and internet are fine. The issue that one time was that the server wouldn't let me teleport. The command went through but I got an error back, something about the zone being too full.

One of my retainers brought me back a Neo Ishgardian axe, so that's in the pool too.

Good to know where to get them if I'm looking. Funnily enough, one of my retainers literally brought a piece (scouting chest I think?) back the very first venture they finished after I logged in after the patch.

Zone congestion messages will happen when too many players are trying to enter a zone at the exact same time. Waiting 5 seconds then trying again will usually get you through. You're going to get it a lot with the crowded hunt trains.
