Title says it all
I never expected to be looking forward to monk changes the most, but the first thing I will probably end up doing is working out how to craft the new house exterior
then crying at my missing crystals D:
Title says it all
I never expected to be looking forward to monk changes the most, but the first thing I will probably end up doing is working out how to craft the new house exterior
then crying at my missing crystals D:
MSQ story, Eden story, Emerald story, Void quests story, Yorha story, Eden fight, Emerald fight, Relict run with Trust.
In that order.
EDIT: Oh, that's order of interest.
Order of doing: Exchange tomestone, clear Emerald, clear Eden, go to work, come back from work and do Void and Yorha quests, MSQ.
I'll start with some crafting in an attempt to capitalize on the market for the new gear. Then the new Edens, trial and dungeon while they're still fresh and I have a chance to figure out the mechanics on my own. Story things are not time critical so they can come later.
On patch day I'll do msq first definitely, when I get to the instanced content I will wait until friends get through reading then run it with them. Look at new stuff on MB in the meantime lol. Then Eden, Emerald, Void Quests, and if we did everything by then then ask to do some maps I have saved up.
I'm most excited for just new story really and new stuff to do.
The 10 potency buff on bards heavy shot lol
I'm on a little bit of a break from 14 as I'm just logging in once or twice a week but the patch will bring me back for at least a couple of days to stay current.
First, I'll probably do the new Nier quest. Not expecting much from it as it's sadly only a single quest but it should hopefully be interesting anyway. Then I'll do the MSQ. If my interest holds I'll do the Eden series normal versions. After that I might do Werlyt or might not. As time goes on I find myself caring less and less about Garlean stuff so I've found myself largely not caring about anything related to it. I'll do it eventually but mostly just in case it later becomes a requirement for something I actually want to do since that seems to be a direction 14 has started going as of late.
Everything. What I'll do first? Probably Eden Raids, I need to see how things end for the dynamic duo.
I'll be doing the storyline first then either eden or emerald... after that pop up some new game plus modes to replay job and role quests as well as replay part 3 of ShB... gotta get the cutscenes that aren't in the journal memorized some how lol. Oh if I can I will also unlock the exploration mode too cause why not?
MSQ will be the first priority for patch content; I gotta gets me some story. Until I can find an FC to get into savage content, I'm a PUG scrub for everything else in the patch.
That being said, I'm in no desperate hurry to do everything as quickly as possible; I'll do all the content when I do it.
MSQ, sidequests, Explorer Mode
MSQ, before spoilers start flying. Then the role quest and Werlyt.
Working order:
Selling tome materials during the frenzy
MSQ
Eden
Role/Void quests
...
...finally getting around to fighting Sapphire Weapon. >_>
But yeah, looking forward to all the story things, taking a certain someone on an adventure finally, and plot progress for Unukalhai(!!!). It's been a long time coming.
Ah yes, selling tome materials first too.
Then Eden (normal) and I will try E9S in PF I guess.
Later, during evening I will enjoy the main story.
boy i'm so excited to bum rush gatherings and crafting gear... also the penta-melding and all the gil that i'll lose by breaking hundreds of materia. but for real im excited about the new tier savage, even if the gearing part will be painstakingly stressful and expensive
As usual, first thing I do when the patch drops is I go back to what I was doing before the patch. In this case, I'm still working on getting my remaining jobs to 60. I'm just one of those odd players who doesn't jump into new content immediately. We have three months to get through it. However, what I am the most excited to do is Titan Unreal. The ARR and some of the HW primals I did not do when they were relevant, but Titan in particular is one I really wish I could have done.
A reason to play this game again.
Jokes aside I'll probably go for the story right away.
Check the market board to see how much I like the new gear (new crafted battle gear / lv1 glamour gear)
The rest of the patch I'll do over time/days whenever I get bored of the other games I'm currently playing.
Impatient to see if they can do worse than the 5.3 boss QTE.
-Eden storyline & Raids.
-MSQ
-Ishgard Restoration Finale
-New Glamour
-Explorer Mode
Tome exchange and then msq slogg. Then Eden.
Savage, then probably a bit of crafting then msq.
Eden for story, I can’t wait to see the last 2 fights and what will happen to Gaia.
Crafting new gear, then new trial and MSQ to unlock the ex roulette. I wish I could be more excited by the new story, but man, I’m so tired of Zenos.
Starting very soon my hours at work are changing. I'll be working afternoons and some weekends and will rarely be able to see my FC.
We gonna raid like nuts while we all still can.
The first thing I'm going to do is whip out my fancy new violin instruments and test what they sound like.
I forgot a very important step in my "things to do first": trying on all the new glamours.
Also (once the initial login chaos is over) seeing how good my male characters look in the Expeditioner's Tabard. I've been wanting that to be unisex for ages.
MSQ > Emerald Weapon > Raids > Quests
then do it all over again on my LP alt while recording, weee.
Also one of my friend's statics wants me to jump in and fill in for their tank or something for Emerald Weapon Extreme in the evening, so I'm looking forward to that the most as far as gameplay goes.
I'm looking forward to the new trial, raids and seeing what my relic weapon will look like!
Either story first into emerald ex, or the other way around
I always do MSQ first. I don't want to worry about avoiding spoilers.
Maps.
Its the most fun way to cap tomes.
Its the most fun way to make gil.
Its the most fun way to collect rare items.
I really dont understand why literally not everyone does maps more often.
Gather new Timed Mats and sell them for the crafters while they're hot xD.
Truly a visionary.
I'm a bit let down on FF content since 5.1 so I don't have great expectations. I'm more curious about bits of it. I wonder where MSQ is going because 5.3's ending was terribly underwhelming in my opinion, so I'll see if the new storyline is catching me.
I love raiding so I'm happy to be back on weekly progress on Eden.
Maps, Ishgard, Blue Mage is stuff we already now with a new coat of paint so I can't really say I care.
The most intriguing bit for me in Delubrum Reginae Savage, I wonder what i will be like, but I'll think about it when it's around.
I'm looking forward to maps and crafting/gathering-related content.
I'll farm Eden's healer top like there's no tomorrow, first and foremost. After that, I'll do the MSQ ( * - * )
Explorer mode also tempts me. Too many things I want to do at the same time!
Trying to get Emerald extreme and Eden's Promise savage out of the way as soon as humanly possible before the duty complete wall stops me.
Well i would like to raid savage asap but i guess that will be delayed.
Probably 1st thing i'll do is try out the new gear with new leg changes, see if ruffled skirt works with any of them and looks good.
Then check and see what the new crafted glamour is.
Then i'll probably attempt to get a group together to try out the new zonureskin map dungeons, looks pretty fun.
I'm mostly looking forward to MSQ, new raid tier and new trial in that order.
Though, since I'm raiding with my static on patch day, first thing I'll probably do is push through the normal raids, grab some new gear pieces and meld them. Then if time allows it go for the MSQ ;w;
MSQ story first!!:) then yorha raid, eden story and everything else, sidequest, etc. Also i want my small house!!
