Major launcher issues.
So I'll start off with this. Here's what I know
- the launcher loads- occasionally I get in the game
- the launcher breaks in some way shape or form, missing log in, missing advertisement, etc, and locks up.
- the launcher works and it tries to load the game and locks up in windows mode, never making it to borderless windowed which is my setting.
- occasionally I get unable to verify the client and that stops the launcher ([30410] [30607] [20459] [10009] [10019])
- the only code I ever got was 2002 which is an internet issue but I have no internet issues
- Sometimes after sitting in the launcher for an extended time the launcher will load and I can connect, the game itself seems to load in incredibly slow especially in populated areas (specifically tested Limsa)
I called both my ISP and Sqaure Enix Support
ISP- There are no issues with your internet
Square- It seems like an internet issue restart your router (did that nothing changed)

Good afternoon and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums
Are you connected directly to the router? Additionally, have you tried uninstalling it and reinstalling the game launcher?

I am hardwired to the router
I have uninstalled twice and reinstalled via steam as the uninstaller.exe in the files doesn't work

Good afternoon and thank you for the reply.
Could you try the following trouble shooting:
The game will use the Internet Explorer web browser to connect to the internet. Open Internet Explorer, then open the "Tools" setting, go to "Internet Options" and adjust the following settings:
- Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
- Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
- Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
- Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
- Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
- Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.
-Please make sure that "Cookies" and "JavaScript" are ENABLED on the PSN Browser. This can be done by going to the web browser on the PS4, press the options button, then go to settings. The options for Cookies and Javascript will most likely be checked, uncheck them and then recheck them.
-Reset your router by turning it off for a few minutes, then back on
- Make sure your anti-virus/firewall has the appropriate exceptions for Final Fantasy XIV (you can temporarily disable them while you try to connect as well).
-Make sure to use a wired Ethernet connection as opposed to wireless
- Check the following Port Ranges on your router/modem to ensure that they have been opened:
▼TCP
54992 through 54994,
55006 through 55007,
55021 through 55040
Your ISP can open these ports for you.
You might want to check if the following port ranges are open in your router. You can contact your ISP and request that they open them for you:
▼TCP
54992 through 54994,
55006 through 55007,
55021 through 55040

Yes I've been through the works and opened every port, this a generic solution that doesn't actually solve my problem.
My game also refuses to save the setting of being in borderless windowed mode and defaults back to windowed every time i open it
-
Issue still not solved so if anyone has any advice im open to suggestion. This wasn't happening like 3 days ago
-
It started happening on tues. Other people are experiencing this.
Hopeing to get something other than a copy/paste answer to this person
-
Honestly, I'm just SUPER glad it's not just me :/ I had been hard panicking about it thinking it was my PC
Thank you for giving me atleast that little update. Its PC in general or just people who have Steam?
-
Its now confirmed happening on multiple different consoles can we get some kind of support passed the generic?
-
Started happening to me as well just now :/
-
Days later this is still happening, no moderator help asside from basic comments.
-
Yeah, and it all started on after the Nov 10th update...

I called up my ISP and they took a look at the ports. For some reason, the ports I need to play the game were closed. They had always been open. They reopened the ports and restarted my router and I restarted my PS4. I was able to get into the game. They also mentioned that my PS4 was connecting to some internet IP address they did not know. I am not anywhere near where I can possibly connect to another IP address either, so that part was a mystery to us both.
-
This is good information, that said for us its been back and forth.
I play on PC myself my wife plays on PS4. I have opened all the ports and as far as resetting the ps4 ISP I dont know how to do that, Are any of yall on ATT?
-
I am also on ATT. They are the ones I called about not being able to get on the game.

Keep getting that ([30410] [30607] [20459] [10009] [10019]) client error myself now. That was after I got into the game and it couldn't load the data server and dumped me. Keep getting that error now.
-
I'm getting the same client error: [30410] [30607] [20459] [10009] [10019]. Earlier, I was able to log in briefly a few times but got booted after ~10 minutes.

One of the things you guys can try is if you're on PC, you can open task manager and kill SPECIFICALLY the ff14 process in the process tab, sometimes its been locking up and ive found thats the easiest way for me to start up again

I've been having very similar problems with the Mac version launcher for the same period of time. Sometimes the launcher loads nothing, sometimes it loads the banners and News/Topics tabs but not the login section, sometimes the login section works but doesn't respond to hitting Enter or the Log In button (and sometimes that fixes itself with a few more tries), sometimes it hangs on 'Checking Final Fantasy XIV.' And then sometimes it works normally.
I've also been getting occasional disconnects while in the game, though it's hard to say if they're related -- the disconnects aren't common, but they've happened.
