Just for fun, weird crossovers

So while I drinking today I had a bad idea. A really bad idea but I found it humorous. What if final fantasy 14 added in runescape style wildness pvp. The devs could have dragons there and Alchemist could make anti dragon fire potions. The best loot could be easier to get there but also stolen by other players. This was going all ok until I remember pvp in 14 isnt that great.

So I had some more to drink to cover up the woes of my bad idea. That was until I remembered that in dark souls the pvp areana are coded as battle Royale. So what if dark souls 3 had a battle Royale mode. A crow hold a ball of embers could come in and fly across a map and you drop down as an ember to revive a body with a random starter class. The abyss could expand and block off the map. Abyss watchers could patrol the growing abyss and if killed drop a piece to protect against 1 stack of abyss. Random npc could be loot boxes that drop whatever they have when killed. If you die and your body stay in the abyss for 30 seconds you revive as an abyss creature. Last ashen one left wins. Of course since mobs tracking and pathing and leashing would make adding this a nightmare.

Anyone else have an they would like add, you know, just for funnies.

eh, I'm still going to have to say no to crossovers until the day they do one with either kingdom hearts or breath of fire

If this game doesn't feature Dante from Devil May Cry by the time it goes offline... what do I even live for?

How about a WWF (like the 80's and 90's wrestlers) event? Get the doomsday warriors, maybe some Andre the Giant, and a tugboat minion.

How about a Street Fighter cross over where Monk can finally get a projectile Hadouken. Add all the costumes and hairstyles of the characters.

Warcraft crossover.

I'd prefer if they referenced Phantasy Star II though. Mother Brain fight in 3-D, yes please! Not too mention NeiPrime and stuffs. I mean, LaShiec is cool and all but...

I'd like to see a Resident Evil crossover. Just have Nemesis be explained as a creepy mutated experiment that bursts out of a containment unit in Azys Lla.

I'd also like to see a Breath of Fire and The Witcher 3 crossover event. I'm sure there's plenty of good glamour to be brought by the table by either.

They should bring in Ariana Grande and Katy Perry from FF Brave Exvius.

I feel like a cross-over may potentially be on the table again now that PSO2 was finally brought to the west and interest in the franchise is higher a result.

I could see it drawing from the series as a whole as opposed to just PSO2, though if they decided to bring in a boss I think it would probably be one of the Dark Falz incarnations from said game.

I wouldn't be against a Xeno(Gears/Saga/Blade) crossover at some point. That or Phantasy Star.
Hell, give us a Bravely Default crossover, that'd certainly be entertaining.

Everybody gets a giant boxy Steve head and a Creeper minion. And maybe the song "Sweden" on orchestrion.

And you have to be a miner to participate in the questline.

Since they already did a Nier: Automata crossover, I want to see Mass Effect. A Reaper found its way into the FFXIV universe somehow.

FINALLY!! someone on here who sees the benefits. We literally have a shinku hadoken and spinning bird kick for monk so why not? Plus Capcom has worked with SE before so it's like... GIVE US.

With the recently-announced Legendary Edition coming up next year, I wouldn't object. Gimme a set of N7 armor and an omnitool hacking emote.

Since Square also published Crystal Dynamics' Avengers game, I had ideas rolling around for a potential Avengers crossover event. Cap's shield as a glam for PLD, Black Widow's wrist blasters for MNK, Iron Man armor glam... >w>

I would like some crossover event with NieR Replicant when the game comes out. If they did all the NieR raids, it would be nice to do something for Replicant. I haven't gotten to raids yet, so I don't know how they work... but what I know is that Replicant has this great level with robots which is very JRPG-like and could easily work in FF XIV. I think they could do that. Replicant's costume and Emil mask in Mogstore.... yes, please.

I suspect they'd rather wash their hands of that particular game given that it resulted in a $48 million loss.

Genshin Impact would be interesting, we have a quest to help the emergency foo... er, Paimon get back to the traveler. Not to sure what the rewards would be, maybe the usual glamour or maybe the glider wings as a mount?

XENOSAGA!!! Nothing would be better than Kosmos’ last armor from number 3!!! Also Shion’s Vector uniform. Jin’s kimono, Momo’s outfit....KOSMOS’ HAIR! I would not even care about clipping!!! I can at least dream, right?

Or come forward in time...maybe KD/A? I would take an Ahria outfit or all of them.

hmm what if the devs who made the dark souls remakes teamed up with the og team to add dlc for demon souls. Thats what I would love to see
